I don't care. It's not that interesting of a premise, and it's not even just Rey herself. "Luke gets some students" would be just as boring. Fine for a comic or an episode in an anthology show maybe but nothing to build a whole movie or movie trilogy around.

Kathleen has done a great job at keeping this franchise alive after George Lucas nearly destroyed it with the prequel trilogy.

Star Wars was in a much healthier state, as measured by games and merchandise sales, after the prequels than it is now
Star Wars as a franchise peaked with the prequels and has been declining since. In all aspects, whether fan engagement, toy sales, comics, video games, animation, or anything else, the prequel years far outweigh any moment in the Disney years

Meanwhile Rey is the heroine of an entire trilogy of Star Wars movies with each earning billions in ticket sales a few years back, yet to most modern moviegoers she's irrelevant. A stranger. Her own villains and side characters are more interesting to viewers. Hell, she's so irrelevant that people care more about spin-off characters like Din Djarin from the streamed Disney+ show, or Cal Kestis from videogame offshoots, than about the heroine of a whole mainline trilogy. She is too weak to carry Star Wars, she is not good protagonist material.
