This. Dave already confirmed that this show is only just a set-up for his own film which also sets up the ST. It's going to be the Mandalorian season 2 again with all these pointless cameos just so they can keep making spin-offs.
Why would you try to discuss SW here at this point? The thread is going to be shitpost central. That being said, i'm hyped. Not so much for Thrawn, but for Filoni kino.
Honestly making the next major project a sequel to a childrens cartoon is bold as frick. Pretty good indicator that Disney isn't as afraid of star wars failure as Cinemaphile would like to believe, if they are willing to take major risks like this on projects that are supposed to carrying the franchises relevancy for at least the next couple years

It’s also stupid as frick. You need the audience to have multiple prerequisites before watching the show that normal people will not have done. It’s exactly why the MCU is faltering now.
this show is DOA, at least people still cared enough to be excited about kenobi when it came out. this will be the first time I am going to be lost in a starwars product because I dont watch anything live action and Inwould never stoop low enough to read a starwars book
in b4 he only appears in the final episode
I'm positive that all of the trailer content we have is specifically from the first two episodes

Remains to be seen. Filoni is pretty insistant that it's a self contained story.
Implying they won't kill him off in the show just so Filoni can have the last word over Zahn.
Kissu
What a beaut
want to sniff butt
puta looks so bored in every scene shes in
>thrawn losing and losing except for one episode toward the end where he needs to seem halfway threatening
lol
>Implying he's going to be an antagonist at all
more content!!!!!
Why does Cinemaphile hate ongoing series so much?
boring and ugly
Thrawn dindu nuthin. He just wants to protect the galaxy from the Grysks.
Blue women
This is the big one. If they frick it up, SW is dead.
It doesn't matter if star wars is dead. It's been "dead" for the past decade yet I'm still enjoying myself
They already fricked it up by casting an old guy doing a lispy Hannibal Lecter impression as Thrawn.

They will probably make a fool of him like they did in Gaybels. Imagine watching Disney shit on a franchise you're supposedly a fan of.
>Gaybels
Is this really the best you guys came up with?
Looks like it was enough to make you mad.
If Tony Gilroy were doing this show I would have hope. I currently have no hope.
