SW is a from the book hero´s journey that recognizes itself as a tale. A heavily stylized piece of space fantasy about family, good and evil. As it´s core is just that simple.
Disney Wars is a completely different beast. Visually, structurally, thematically. It´s it´s own thing and it´s been so from the beginning. Most of the time it´s connections to SW are shallow at best. Occasionally someone that understands SW comes along and tries to close the gap between these two like Favreau and Filoni but those efforts are bound to fail as whatever they do won´t be stand alone but part of this MCU like production design over which they have zero control.
You are free to like DW all you want but that doesn´t mean SW is back. It will never be back.

SW is a from the book hero´s journey that recognizes itself as a tale. A heavily stylized piece of space fantasy about family, good and evil. As it´s core is just that simple.
Disney Wars is a completely different beast. Visually, structurally, thematically. It´s it´s own thing and it´s been so from the beginning. Most of the time it´s connections to SW are shallow at best. Occasionally someone that understands SW comes along and tries to close the gap between these two like Favreau and Filoni but those efforts are bound to fail as whatever they do won´t be stand alone but part of this MCU like production design over which they have zero control.
