>Steven can fuse with other humans
>Steven can fuse with other gems
So, in theory, could Steven fuse with a human, and then fuse that fusion with a gem? We know fusions can fuse, Garnet does it all the time.

In theory steven could tongue my anus.
Given his tenderness, you'd probably love it. And his spit would clear up those hemmroids
Hot
Hmm, lets explore that. Circumference?
Steven could literally unite all of the gems and all of humanity into one being. Basically a god, but it'd be insane.
No, fusions can only exist as long as they're in sync.
I think what would be more likely is Steven could unite the town and the gems for a single purpose, like stopping a volcano or something, but it would be a herculean effort that wouldn't last long past the objective being accomplished.
It would be amazing if he could move faster than a slug like that given how the poly gem acted who was nothing but moron gem babies.
Right, it would have to be an immediate objective that everyone was clear on. I don't think it would have much personality either beyond "do the thing".
Obsidian did pretty well with 5 Gems
There's a reason she didn't hang around all that long.
I wonder how that Stella AU handles fusion.
>I wonder how that Stella AU handles fusion
IIRC, Metal Men fusion is fndamentally different from the Gem one, as it:
>is a permanent process, which reslts in a complete destruction of both previous entities
>can occur "naturally" as Metal Men are formed
There wasn't much talk about how Gems fit into that, aside from some fricked up theoretical forced hybrid experiments.
That's a completely different show
The justification behind it is that MM are fundamentally different from Gems, with their bodies being actually physical instead of hard light, which is why they don't poof either.
All in all, some creative liberties were had.
It's not bad. But one of the reasons I suffered through SU was for the fusion. It really puts an alien spin on human dynamics.
That reminds me that the concept of hard light showed up in a completely unrelated property...I should look into that.
Permanent fusion really stirs up my commitment phobia.
>permanent fusion really stirs up my commitment phobia
Well, this AU aims to look at aspects of the original show at different angles, so I'd say this kind of reaction is proof it succeeds.
Remember Major's backstory from Hellsing Ultimate?
The concept of letting something else into your very being, even if consensually, IS something that should frick with you on some level.
It sounds promising, there's real depth there. The fact that there's already an overbearing mother figure in the Stella cast tells me a lot. I wish there were more interactions between Stella and the Metal Men, but it feels like the story is sliding toward her alpha b***h friend and her mother. Honestly, this is new ground for me.
>I wish there were more interactions between Stella and the Metal Men, but it feels like the story is sliding toward her alpha b***h friend and her mother
You can always pop into the thread and tilt the conversation towards it.
I actually didn't like Carol and her mom initially, but grew to appreciate them after they were developed into having some actual use within the narrative.
God knows the last thing these threads need are some more quirky townies or something out of the left field like espers.
Okay, sometimes I get overwhelmed by the background details and histories and it's hard to assemble everything together in my mind the way it's intended. I'll be honest, I'm not fond of hyper-manipulative psychopathic mothers or the idea of being dommed by them, which anons really enjoy exploring.
>okay, sometimes I get overwhelmed by the background details and histories and it's hard to assemble everything together in my mind the way it's intended
That's understandable.
The whole thing is just a giant spaghetti mess of anons ideaguying, so it's very easy to lose track of what's actually agreed upon and what's not.
The guys at the Honey-Bee threads made a wiki for these kinds of projects and I've been working on putting all of the Stella shit there, so maybe that'll introduce some semblance of structure.

Sugar and Muto always insist on having a creepy grandma hang out with the kids.
No one really wants her there, but too bad, here's an episode about her. Don't you love that greasy matriarch energy?
What if he fused with another human then fused with a gem and then just unfused himself, would that by another gem-human hybrid or would the fusion immediately collapse without steven as the connecting point.
Also what would happen if steven didn't destroy the time thing in that episode and fused with himself later or something.
She is a rape worm.
Die bug. have a nice day. Etc.
Seethe. Cope. Etc.
>Also what would happen if steven didn't destroy the time thing in that episode and fused with himself later or something.
The show shows that a gem fusing with thensame gem just makes a bigger version of the same gem.
So he'd just become Future Steven
Steven2
>I think what would be more likely is Steven could unite the town and the gems for a single purpose
The idea sounds cool but the mental image of a entire town dancing and/or joining in for a group hug to fuse sounds cringe as frick.
Eeugh. The townies are generally alright, but the idea of bonding a mass of liberals together makes me want to vomit up my organs. Aaugh!
I like the idea of fusing a smaller group - like what the Knights of Ren were meant to be. A small male phalanx into a hyper-conpetent fusion. Imagine accomplishing shit without a fricking woman in your ear.
Imagine Steven goes to some harmonic convergence hippie festival and winds up fusing with everyone
So this but Steven?
>STEVEN INSTRUMENTALITY
Does this make Steven Rei, He is basically a vessel for his mother's spirit, hell he's practically an EVA
this but its like the cat fingers and its eldritch horror
I was expecting one more big fusion in Steven Universe Future.
>Steven/Lars fusion never ever
Cartoon Network could make a killing selling a book that's just fusions we didn't see in the show with a brief bio and abilities. Something like those old Marvel and DC handbooks
It could. But it would take so much work to make it good and not have the fusions be a huge disappointment and the crewniverse are some of the Californians I hate the most.
Depends on the group, honestly. Groups want different things and some groups want to kick ass. The problem I could see with it is such a phenomenon encouraging cult-like behavior.
If you were a part of a fusion, you can hold things back from the other parts. That's how Pearl took advantage of Garnet, remember?
Maybe. The writers are kind of stunted. I think it'd be beyond their capacity to write something mean with heart behind it instead of 24/7 nicey-nice.
The funny thing is Pearl thinks fusing into Mega-Pearl makes it so Pink Pearl can't hide anything from her.
Steven is a fricking bawd
steven can fuse with humans, when they are fused is that a new person, or just a combination of both, with access to the memory of both?
then when he fused with his dad, he remember fricking his mom and probably pearl.
Sardonix episode only makse sense if the fusion doesn't know what it component know, otherwise the moment Pearl and Garnet fused Garnet would knew she was being manipulated by Pearl.
We get many insights into the mind of Stevonnie. Remember their dream on the jungle moon?
Stevonnie was a replacement for Perfect Steven and that would have been a better in every way Stevonnie sucks ass and is SJW posturing.
>Steven goes to an orgy
>Ends up a giant futa just jerking off and flooding the room with her cum
This show would be 10x better if it was even a smidge meaner.
In theory steven could fuse with animals like the dog fricker he is.
Here is another question.
Could Steve fuse with a human, then fuse with a gem and then leave the fusion and leave the gem and human fused together?
I think yes, but the fusion would be more like a gem exoskeleton around the human.
I don't think we have ever seen a three(or more)-way fusion defuse only one member
In human psychology, one may rely on smaller parts being able to keep specific knowledge from the whole. This is one way humans can survive horrible things.
bimp
Could steven fuse with two humans, like say Greg and Connie, then unfuse butnleave the two of them fused?
Every fusion we've seen has all members of thenfusion drop out at the same time.
