      This anon gets it
      >25 minutes of monologue and meticulous planning to establish how he views himself
      >completely botches the hit because of bad aim
      >spends the rest of the movie barely hanging by a thread anytime he's in a fair fight

        >25 minutes of monologue and meticulous planning to establish how he views himself
He's shown to be good at his job.
        >completely botches the hit because of bad aim
It wasn't bad aim, the mistress blocked the shot.
        >spends the rest of the movie barely hanging by a thread anytime he's in a fair fight
You mean the one fight in the movie with the other assassin who outweighs him by 20kg?

I was just fact checking. If you want to make a point, you can do so without making false claims.

              Inaccurate. Misunderstood the movie.
              >It wasn't bad aim, the mistress blocked the shot.
              He improvised. Misunderstood the movie.

                >He improvised. Misunderstood the movie.
He really didn't. If anything, he failed because he waited too long so his heart rate would go down completely. He was too by the book.

Inaccurate. He's shown to have a plan, routine, mantra, principles - and then goes against all of them. You are not fact checking, you are wrong.

Are you as moronic as Fincher when he made this movie?

No, I just like calling out anons that say they're fact checking when they're straight up wrong.

Show me where he's good at his job like you claim? The whole film is him messing up and barely making it by. Keep grasping at straws.

He took down all his targets on his path to revenge (except for the last one, which he decided to let go).
He is shown to have accumulated more money doing this than a man can spend in a lifetime.

the example is the one we are talking about, anon, try and follow along

          >He's shown to be good at his job.
Not that much. He’s autistically good at storing things away in a long term garage, cleaning, getting rid of harmless dead bodies. He miscalculated the amount of time his mentor had left before chocking to death, for instance.

          >It wasn't bad aim, the mistress blocked the shot.
He had a ton of opportunities before. Or could have taken the shot when the escort wasn’t dangerously close to the target. It wasn’t a timed mission. The whole scene was so hilarious because you can see what’s coming minutes before it happens.

          >You mean the one fight in the movie with the other assassin who outweighs him by 20kg?
Yes, the —wounded— assassin that our protagonist could have easily killed in a million different ways since that he lived in a fairly isolated location, was limping, and had no idea he was being targeted. Why not waiting for the guy to come back and snipe him from afar as he’s limping up the stairs? Or, since The Killer ended up burning the house anyway, why not torching the house down once the —wounded, slow— assassin was at sleep? He miscalculated the amount of sleeping pills he gave to the dog and almost got himself eaten alive.

And, finally, the only one person (the billionaire) who had the resources to keep going after him…he let him live…and didn’t even cover his face! There sure were cameras in the penthouse.
I’m supposed to believe that the billionaire would be okay knowing that there was a lone killer out there who 1) knew he paid to have someone killed and 2) has threatened him.

Granted the other character weren’t that smart either:

          >Malcom X, the mentor
Kept all his killer contact info in a Rolodex on his home desk

          >the female assassin & the brute
Didn’t even rent a car using a fake ID but instead relied on a cabbie and had him wait for them while they were committing a crime…

            >He miscalculated the amount of time his mentor had left before chocking to death, for instance.
Desu, knowing how long it takes for a person to drown in their own blood after being shot in the chest with a nail gun is not really part of the job. I don't think it's even calculable. That's just Fincher making fun of the super cool pro assassin trope. There's a lot of that in the movie, but that's a very different thing from saying "this character is an incompetent".
Almost all of your examples are the former.

            >It wasn’t a timed mission.
She was about to shut the blinds. That was his window.
            >wounded— assassin
Wasn't wounded when he rushed him.
            >had no idea he was being targeted
Killer had no idea what the layout of the place was, so that makes them even.

except for the last one, which he decided to let go

            no biggie

Why would that count against him? It was his choice.

the human q-tip explained it. he wanted to look in her face because something something revenge. he made it personal and broke his own rules, like never yield an advantage etc.

He was israeli, one of god's chosen. I think we can all understand the message here.

how are people pretending this movie had any deeper meaning than hitman fricks and is on the run. He doesnt make any mistakes after his first hit. Most of what happens is him over complicating things and assuming his clients want him dead, when they all assumed he has ran away to another country. The black guy was shocked her showed up.

Netflix has tons of cash, they need high profile names to draw viewers, Fincher takes the fat cash and produces a mid movie, cries at some of the reviews but laughs all the way to the bank

      Pretty much this.

It's like the script was meant to be a satire but Fincher didn't get the memo and played it straight.
