Is that something a homosexual who sucks wieners and swallows cum would say?

Not the most cucked because that shit is mainstream as frick. Pretty much the "traditional man must provide" stuff you'll see on pol and similar.

It's, basically, your average boomer "Man up and stop whining" spiel, only with more words.
You can see variants of that shit when they complain about people not having work ethics nowadays.

      >oh but don't worry Mando, the only thing the Darksaber can't cut is the armor you wear all the time because god forbid there's ever any tension of you getting injured constantly wearing your invincible armor

why the frick do they bother

You can still cut his head off or one of his limbs. You just have to be precise. moron actually cut himself one time.

Can't blame him. He found a shortcut to success and it's to be the big bad in almost everything he shows up in

  6. 2 years ago

He became popular for pretty much copying what Michael Potts did as Brother Mouzone in The Wire, and making it worse. It's ridiculous.

      Anonymous

Brother Mouzone was the most offensive character of the show, horribly conceived and acted. The deadly gentleman trope is truly cringe. Really jarring against the cast of otherwise very realistic and sympathetic characters.

I honestly don't find him believable as this kind of mastermind archetype. It wasn't believable when he played Gus and it still isn't. It's too on the nose, the guy ends up coming off as a caricature. It's the kind of exaggerated character archetype you find in anime, not in movies and tv shows

Because he has no range and is a shit actor. Also it's called typecasting and is what happens when you become known for a great role before becoming a household name in your own right.

Cause it's easier than writing a good villain, when can just borrow Gus Fring's credibility
And tbh, he's pretty good at it. I feel like Stan Edgar's conversations with Homelander are the few parts of that garbage that are remotely well written

Except the vast majority of the show is shit and completely changed the comic to push propaganda.

The character that Stan Edgar is equivalent to is who they changed into a woman in the first season instead.

The show is so much worse than the comic that it’s embarassing

            Anonymous

Who cares, they had to change it because the topics in the book are relevant to the early 00s and they wanted to make it relevant to the 20s. You're just b***hing because it's clowning on /misc/ and qtards.

            >The show is so much worse than the comic that it’s embarassing
I feel like it started better than got significantly worse
I think the comics are bad but there's good things in it.
Since S2 the show has been solid garbage exception for the 15min Jensen Ackles is on screen

        >They just copy pasted those scenes from the comic lmao
The general tone yeah, but in the comics Stillwell was just unimpressed with Homelander because he was boring and repetitive and never aimed for anything.
Edgar goes more deep in the show's Homelander (who has a deeper character) and talks about his insecure need of a father figure, desperate desire for approval and acceptance and it's all pretty good.
