I knew this was happening but didn't know if it came out. I don't know what voice they have in my head when i read the comics but i know whatever they do in the cartoon is wrong.
And yet, he managed to get this show picked up anyway. Just goes to show, the less attention you give a "controversy" the more likely it is to blow over.
Just look at what happened with Scott Cawthon, he's pretty right-wing but never really spoke up about it until people dragged it back into the light. If he'd stayed quiet, maybe he wouldn't have gotten hit with such brutal backlash, and then maybe he wouldn't have had to outsource development of Security Breach to another studio and it'd be a good game instead of the shit we got.
Meanwhile Nathan Pyle kept his mouth shut, and now he's gonna be the #1 animated comedy on AppleTV+ for a couple weeks.
Imagine not wanting to get rid of children legally
Funny enough this was beloved by the reddit crowd as a webcomic but everyone turned on the creator when it came out that he was pro-life.
People really care that much? The comics are good. I enjoy reading them and I'll enjoy his show, not like it costs me money. Doesn't mean I gotta marry the artist. So good for him.
Have you been living under a rock? Political purity is the biggest issue infesting society right now. Anyone not on [insert political tribe here] is considered to be evil.

Yes. I found it mildly amusing like twice, then the joke was over. But everybody else seems to love hearing the same "joke" over and over and over again, ad infinitum. I genuinely don't get why everybody loves this stupid fricking comic so much.
This gave me the push I needed to unfollow them on Instagram. Should have done it after they started spamming about things vaguely shaped like US states.
I enjoyed the webcomic from time to time but I kind of forgot about it after a while. I thought the cartoon was cute, but its main idea will get old quick and it will soon be a forgotten cartoon.
I tried watching it not even half an hour ago, but it quickly became clear it had no actual jokes and instead it was basically shit like >I attempted to view this program 1/48th of a day ago, and rapidly I was made aware that the humor was not present and instead it was fecal matter such as the following
It's good for a three panel comic, but not as a tv show.
I despise Strange Planet like you wouldn't believe. 4-panels are already stretched out to fit that format, and are improved by removing a panel or maybe two and spreading its contents among the others. But this webcomic is different. It has such little value that you can remove all 4 panels and it will still be unaffected. There is that much NOTHING in it.
Maybe, it has great entertainment value and it's guaranteed to make you bawl your eyes out from laughter? Nope.
Maybe, it deals with non-mundane situations and/or offers a solution or a course of action in case they happen? No.
Maybe, it includes a deep, profound message, and it takes a genius far beyond this anon's caliber to comprehend it? No.
Maybe, it has great art? Haha, no.
This webcomic is just cutesy filler slop. Frick Strange Planet, frick its author for making it, frick anyone who likes it, and frick (you).
It's only okay.
Frankly, the show lost its hold on me after the first five minutes.
Outside of the "weird ways to say X", the show is just a slice of life with no continuous storyline.
It might show this to my child if they were still in elementary school, but even then the humor and pacing are so slow.
It's basically a modern-day "Bob's Burgers" script that was run through ChatGPT to make it sound alien and uncanny.
It's this, the show.
There are no reoccurring characters.
Each story focuses on two characters, that look almost exactly the same, facing an A and B plot that barely connect.
It's purely mundane it's narrative but slapped together with the blue alien filter and words that were changed to sound offputting.
Remember those amusing 4 pannel visual representations of motion we read instead of watching people move?
They are full length visual representations of motion now with more drawings per second
It is very annoying to watch
The joke is stretched and repeated several times
I feel like the comic speak would get really annoying in a tv show, how is that?
It's noticeable, but didn't bother me.
I knew this was happening but didn't know if it came out. I don't know what voice they have in my head when i read the comics but i know whatever they do in the cartoon is wrong.
In my head they always sounded like the aliens in Toy Story.
i am ecstatic that one of us made it, but dubious that the premise can hold up for 11 minutes.
reddit the animated series.

>pro-life.

No, he means anti-bodily-autonomy-for-women
Drink your onions anon
buttchug some ivermectin
I shall be blacksuppositoried and debased but you shall always be cringe and bluepilled.
>I don't think people should kill their unborn children
>"You hate women"
I don't think people who would want to kill their unborn children should be having children. So it's a win/win for me.
Anyone having sex should be prepared for potential consequences, it's a simple fact of reality.

You stupid b***h, denying reality doesn't make it right
Frick you
Absolutely based (on real facts)
Enjoy your overpopulation and kids that die two minutes after birth
I prefer "pro-government mandated parasitism"
Babies fricking suck, I'm glad people stopped being breeders.

>strange reddit
>and Dan Harmon
so I assume talking about abortion rather than this cartoon shows how uninteresting it is
Wasn’t the creator cancelled for being a pro-life Christian or something?
