If true, it makes sense. The kids are getting too old too quick, there was always a time limit.
They can always make a sequel series (since the show's so big on showing characters in the future, including Bluey's future kid) or a spinoff starring another family (brandy pls).
I don't think they'd be willing to voice edit the kids to keep them sounding young, and the show already has this "aging in realtime" aspect to it that I don't think they'd drop.
Unrelated, I still need to check out Chip Chilla to see if that is worth being an alternate for my younger relatives as Bluey possibly winds down. I meant to do it during the Bluey hiatus, but never got around to it.
I've got some red flags about it since it's clearly 100% intended to be "Bluey, but American" with a focus on hard-leaning right. Like, I like the right wing the most out of our shit US political "spectrum", but I don't like shows explicitly made for one side or another, even if it's a Red Team cartoon in an ocean of Blue Team propaganda.
