I don't usually agree with shitpost memes but I can't say I think this mischaracterized the SUending at all. Go ahead and describe how the WD fight ends meaningfully different than this summation.

Most fans admit that the ending was clearly rushed, and it was. They thought they'd get at least a couple more seasons to flesh the Diamonds out more but CN pulled the plug on them so they had to do a mad dash to the end. Makes all those shitty townie episodes all the more egregious in retrospect, just a total waste of time when they should have been developing things more.

Rose made Steven knowing that the diamonds see humans and any life form that isn’t a gem as insignificant. Steven being a hybrid human/Diamond forces the Diamond Authority to see humans as beings worthy of living life. Even with this said the ending was dog shit and rushed
