Succession has too much S1 weirdness, like Brian Cox is peeing in coffee cups looking like he's months away from a retirement facility and then three seasons later he's still dabbing on Kendall with ease
I'm glad that we're finally getting some serious resolution and consequences just a shame it took till 4 seasons to get there

It seems like it, right now all the siblings are on the back foot to Logan and he hates all of them. He's not trying to manipulate them into his favor anymore. If the show manages to make it that the siblings go back to capitulating to him I'm going to fricking lose it. I liked watching Kendall's rise, downfall and then schizo moment in season 1 2 and 3. he and Logan serves as the really tasty core of the show. Greg and Tom did a pretty good job building up rapport and I like how they kind of played the field depending on who was rising. Roman and Shiv definitely need to figure out something to do because I was pretty bored with whatever they were involved in. Connor might as well not even be there.

The show kind of reminds me of other shows like Mad Men or Sopranos where it's supposed to be just kind of a general slow burn with a lot of interesting character study. The problem is that some characters get that extra special treatment more so than others. there are brief glimpses of some change or hidden insecurities that we see within the characters early on like shiv and Roman but they don't drastically or even substantially change that much. Kendall got the most of that attention and Greg and Tom got like the second dose of it.
I think that is the fundamental problem though that this show has an interesting cast of characters but it really doesn't do much outside of focusing on a select few which is just incredibly disappointing.

Logan is closing in on the endgame. he wants to sell, add a huge chuck of money to his pile and then stop making new money, maybe keep controling the news.
the kids don't want to sell because it means they will never have the power they always craved and also will stop collecting dividends. they will try to stop the sale and from the teaser they have some moves left. so the game will continue.
it's not really a show where significant stuff happens, because that would kill the premise. the only significant event will happen on the finale.
it's a situational drama, as opposed to a situational comedy. the characters we know and love are put in a room and react to mostly insignificant events.
I'm aware of the motivations of the characters and how that ties into the general point of the show. I'm not saying it needs to do something super definitive and conclusive that shakes up everything but what we're given three seasons in is a lot less compelling when you strip away the fat. If the show is gearing up to blow its load It needs to keep the seasons engaging on their own which it kind of has but only because of Logan and Kendall's relationship. yeah I get the structure of the show It's a lot like the other shows I described. The problem is the events they're reacting to are not only insignificant but also kinda boring. They should serve as facets to explore the character or see some interesting reaction but oftentimes it's just a punchline which is fine but it gets kind of old at least for me

I think he has hasn't he I mean that was his whole thing in season 3 but becoming a lot more like Tom with his clever manipulation or embracing of his riches
