>Fast X >flop
It's made over $700M, and will have good home sales and rentals in addition to seeing sales bumps before Hobbs and X-2, as well as after.
Congratulations on your critical thinking skills.
It cost over $300m, on a rough multiplier of 2.5x cost they need to make $750million to break even, and thats before marketing costs, include those and it probably goes up to $900m, so yeah, it does seem to have flopped a bit.

Take my hand, small idiot, and allow me to lead you.
When a franchise has numerous films given the green light at once, the first film shoulders a ton of the budget of the films which follow. These costs are significant and add up. They can include cast and crew contracts, production design, assets to be used in the subsequent movies, actual filming, and much more.
Also, where in the world did you get 2.5x before promotion? Lmfao you have the brain of a bird. Thank you for mindlessly parroting wieneramamie you heard once and not flatly apply to every production ever.
Honestly, you need to just leave.
The only real bombs were Flash and Indy (and Ant-Man in the spring). Fricking youtubers calling everything a DISASTER because they didn't do Endgame numbers
Zoomer dysgenic abominations are still laping up the new Spider-Man film. Don't think audiences have gained a conscience all of a sudden and reject corporate slop. They just don't have any money and are too lazy even to go to the movies now.
cruise, barbie and oppenheimer will all pull decent numbers
all the films in your picture are just trash
except the covenant, i heard it was decent but isn't it a streaming film?
yea some guy made a thread on it here some time ago
it looks generic and he mentioned it seeming that way, but still said it was worth
ive got prime thru a deal they were doing so ill check it out eventually
Insidious Red Door is doing well. I’m shocked there aren't more horror movies out right now summer is usually when they do best. I think The Conjuring dominated the box office the entire summer it was released.
D&D is pure unfiltered fantasykino and sure as hell a summer release instead a easter one would have benefit the movie. They will probably make some money with the home release.
Too much movies. Of those I'm only going to watch Transformers due to being a conflicted fan of the franchise because cinema, despite being quite cheap around my town (5,5€ on Wednesday) still costs money.
Black person, you should be asking what went RIGHT. And I'll tell you what went right, normies are being more selective with the movies they watch in theaters because normies are finally raising their standards. And that's a genuinely good thing.
exactly
the real question is why is OP surprised flop like this is failing?
is he some Hollywood suit malding that normies aren't eating up the slop they put out these days?
You mean what went right
Hollywood needed to know that what they're doing right now, isn't wanted.
No one one is interested in the shit they're making, not even the hardcores who will consume anything.
It's a wake up call just like Hollywood had in the 60s and 70s.
But they won't will they?
They make 2hr+ movies costing half a billion each with 30% CGI that takes years to create and polish and they are so corporate they have a pipeline of this crap coming they CANNOT STOP.
Being corporations means they cannot turn the ship and fix this at the production line.
They cannot turn; "perfect female beats evil men" into anything else even with rewrites and reshoots. >tldr
NOW IS AN EXCELLENT TIME TO OPEN A NON-WOKE STUDIO MAKING 1hr FLIX ON A BUDGET.
You can run rings around the big studios, react faster to public needs and wants, and eat hollywoke's lunch with ease. >muh prediction looking at the numbers
ONE BIG AMERICAN STUDIO WILL BE GONE BY XMAS!
>What went wrong?
Jews overplayed their anti-human and anti-normal propaganda and the genuine humans weren't buying it. >REMEMBER... EVERY MOVIE OUT THIS YEAR WAS GREEN-LIT in 2016 and so they have 7 MORE YEARS OF FAIL COMING DOWN THE PIPELINE BEFORE THE FLIX LEARNING FROM 2023's LOSSES HIT THE SCREENS!
They'll be Chapter 11 LONG BEFORE THAT at this rate.
I don't think Fast X flopped.
Did good around the world.

Youtubers call everything a WOKE DISASTER because that's what gets them views and its what their braindead cattle fanbase wants to hear.
Cinema is healing.

All modern movies are fricking ugly. There is no visual spectacle left in cinema. Even Ridley Scott and Scorcese are making disgusting looking movies.

Totally unremarkable and looks like an low budget amateurish production for some reason.
yea some guy made a thread on it here some time ago

Watch The Outpost instead.
Barbie will flop. Showings will have walk outs.

Covid savings running out. Resigned from workforce.
>Bloated budgets and terrible management
>Gay, watered down premises and slop you could find on normal TV
And yes, zoomers don't like cinema.
>Summer full of slop after slop after slop
Goyflop
I don't go to cinema. They should put everything out day 1 digital
D&D is pure unfiltered fantasykino and sure as hell a summer release instead a easter one would have benefit the movie. They will probably make some money with the home release.
Is it actually good? It looks like capeslop with a fantasy skin.
>capeslop
Nah its a good movie even if you never heard a thing about d&d.

How did half of these movies get green lit? Who is the audience for this shit?
