this Vulcan was a mistake that should have been shot down by the editor as soon as it was mentioned and then the writer who had the idea should have been taken out into the alley and been beaten
Yeah I'm just wondering why they made Vulcan overwhelmingly more powerful than Cyclops and Havok
Because Vulcan is stupid.

Vulcan is based, and one only worthwhile new X-Men villains this century.
Havok is sometimes based, sometimes a pathetic simp for an evil clone. The X-book writers may be punishing him for the crime of being Remender's mouthpiece for a speech that went against The Metaphor and The Narrative.
Cyclops used to be good but he's been awful for more than 20 years and his fans who want to be him are just as bad, they deserve him getting Wolverined regularly.
>It depends on if you count Adam the Xtreme, their half brother who was the result of D'Ken essentially raping their mother
That was Nicieza's original plan for Adam-X, but that origin couldn't fit alongside Vulcan. Instead Adam-X was made in a lab from the DNA of their mother and D'Ken.
>Or the theories that Gambit was supposed to be a Summers brother as well
This was just a fan-theory that Wizard were particularly vocal about back when X-Men fandom was obsessed with the "3rd Summers brother" mystery. Nicieza was the writer who started the plot, and he always meant for it to be Adam-X, never anyone else. When he wasn't allowed to make it Adam-X, nobody had any plan at all until Vulcan.
Claremont made a bizarre choice to validate the Gambit theories in his X-Men The End series by having Gambit revealed as a creation of Sinister's, and having some of Cyclops' DNA. It's thankfully non-canon, but it's helped keep alive the misconception that Gambit was ever meant to have something to do with this plot back in the 90s.
>Cyclops >Consistent characterization for nearly his entire history >Looks like a nerd, acts like a rebel >Tamed cosmic puss, terrifying even the Celestials >Every new costume is cooler than the last >Secondary mutation is to always be correct in the metanarrative of Marvel Comics, regardless of what the editors or writers of Marvel Comics think or write.
>Havok >Inconsistent characterization for nearly his entire history >Looks like a rebel, acts like a nerd >Every story ends with him becoming a total b***h >Every attempt to give him a new costume fails
>Vulcan >Absolutely unhinged maniac >Incapable of character development >Worf Syndrome: Supposed to be nearly unstoppable, always get his shit kicked in >Not witty or intelligent enough to be interesting
>Inconsistent characterization for nearly his entire history
He's been a cyclotimical schizo since Claremont had him break up with Polaris. quite consistent if you ask me. >Looks like a rebel,
has always been a nerd. Actually graduated, even.
Cyclops is cool.

Whew glad this thread started on the right foot.
Me too.
>Cyclops is cool.
Not only that, but he is also Right.
>Not only that, but he is also Right.
>Right to get cucked by Wolverine and then get railed by Wolverine
Did this happen or is this one of those memes that's touted as reality, like trans Gwen.
LOL you played yourself chump. The fact that everyone wants to rail this sexy hunk of manmeat just makes him even more Right. Get schooled!
>outing yourself as gay for Cyclops on Cinemaphile
That's even worse than regular gay.
i
You're correct. It pushes the gay-meter so far to the left, that it circles back around and becomes...
Right.
(You can't win)
>Dude Rightclops
Spotted the fake fan.
Vulcan should've been a big titty woman that I could coom over
I can always guess who you are
I am you.

They're morons
Their old man's kinda cool tho
I think they need to castrate themselves for the sake of the universe.
Summers track record on men mental health isn't great but damn do Chris's genes make some powerful mutant school shooters.
I think they're cool but their dad is a massive loser
is there one missing from that lineup?

I'm sad that Havok now only exists to be Maddie's beta cuck boyfriend.
All 3 of them are massive cucckolds
I can't blame him honestly. That combination of hot as frick and justifiable evil is just begging to be fixed.
Is it Minister Sinister who has a hard on for Scott and Jean or was that some other villain
Everyone's fricking each other up the ass in the X-verse, point's moot.
Yep, but that was back when Sinister was an actual legitimate villain instead of a prancing english queer.
>prancing english queer.
he just like me fr fr
I'd frick all three but Scott is the only one I would kiss.
Bejitabro btw
Havok is the coolest one.
Gabriel can't handle BLACK lightning.
Wasn't that the pointless mini where the Starjammers get BTFO anyways?

Only under shitty writing, though

lol no. The vast majority of his modern designs suck ass
>Consistent characterization for nearly his entire history
And that's when they knew anon was trolling.

The fight with Black Bolt was good
It was good because he finally got BTFO like he should.
I like Havok when he's not trying to be a superhero bc he knows or feels like he'll never live up to Scott. There's some good pathos there
I can feel the 90s. If I close my eyes I can hear Kurt Cobain doing us all a favor..
How was the X-Men Legends issue with him, btw?
