Also Jennifer Jason Leigh’s character having a change of heart because she saw pictures of her injuries as if she hadn’t spent the previous episodes practically conspiring to end her life was so laughable, and holy shit don’t even get me started on her horrible accent. Gooch and Donut Tombs were the only two half decent characters and even then they still felt like complete cartoon characters. Also what was with that ending, I cringed so hard at the dinner scene that I was squirming in my seat

tbh this is probably the least bad thing about Fargo S05. It enabled the goofy home-alone scenes that happen in every Fargo season.

Nah it’s actually a concept that’s ripe for creativity and could have been well executed while having enough nuance to keep it engaging but not in this case. It was just a really poorly written season of a show that started out way too strong to keep the momentum going I guess
