Rather the lack of imagination on the producer's end.
If you want to deconstruct something, at least make it original.
Consumers have been telling movie makers for the last decade, that you cannot subvert beauty standards because beauty is objective.
It may appear in different ways, but if there was some beauty or real virtuous traits in the characters these producer's wanted to portray, it would be evident. Instead all of their characters mirror the resentment they have for standards as well as the objective reality that they are not the most beautiful women out there. In a way they're like the evil queen from Snow White, but even that message rang on hollow ears as they aren't even going to make the evil queen "evil" in the new movie. All women are equally beautiful and can do no wrong, lmao. It's all one big shit test and it fails when israelites stop printing fake money to give to women for doing NOTHING of value.
>Avengelyne
I'd ask "Literally fricking who?", but quite frankly the name alone tells me that this is shit.
Also, we really need to talk about this twitter screencap thread shit. It needs to fricking STOP. For all of Cinemaphile's constant whining and pissing and moaning about how supposedly awful other social media sites are, the tards who have infested this place sure do never shut the frick up about them. morons, all of you.
>unironically calling it X
do everyone a favor and have a nice day, post the video to xitter if you've got enough braincells to figure out how to do that
Holy projection gayman! I've never used twitter and I wish that hellhole would just die already. I'm not calling your shitty site that Elon, I don't care that you think X sounds cooler.
Refusing to call a fricking website its proper name - for ANY fricking reason - is homosexualry. Full stop.

Why the frick would we? It's Twitter, it's always been Twitter, nobody cares that Elon wants us to call it X now, because the people who like Twitter want to call it Twitter and the people who think it's a moronic site for morons don't care enough to change what they call it.
It's never going to catch on, no matter how mad you get about it. It's just like how nobody gives enough of a frick to say "Meta" when they're talking about Facebook as a company. We don't give a shit about your dumb corporate rebranding efforts. Sorry, we're just not gonna call it that. Really, we're really really sorry but we're just not. Sorry.
>b-but
I don't care. Stop posting twitter screencaps. Also stop being a shill, dumbfrick.
Anons using “TWITTER SCREENCAP BAD!” as a reason to get angry at a thread is moronic. What exactly is the problem with OP’s? It lists all the information rather than having to copy and paste the entire deadline article or some shit.
The problem is that it's annoying as frick. And again, incredibly hypocritical. You morons never stop whining about other websites, and yet here you are shilling the websites you apparently hate. Frick off and shut up.
>screencap shows the character, celebrity, and all the info needed to know about the production of this movie so far >this is a bad thing
Yes, it IS a bad thing, you stupid c**t. Nobody fricking cares. Stop shilling this trash and have a real conversation about something for once in your worthless excuse of a life.

If it's news, post the source and not a screencap of a literally who on a dying website designed for morons to shout their opinions at each other with an algorithm to decide which moron's opinions you get to see.

Not always and you have to either be extremely naive or stupid to not understand how shitty screencaps are used to bait engagement. Why not link or screencap the deadline article or their official account on twitter? Why screencap some content regurgitator account that doesn't link to the actual article source, instead opting for some lazy ass "source: deadline" line? This is the kind of strategy garbage content mills use to siphon off views and engagement from whatever they're parasitically leeching from.

Ignoring the source is how you get engagement bait posts by middlemen looking to game social media. "It's more convenient" gets used as a reason but that just leads to sloppiness where people knee jerk react to whatever they see without actually checking.

I almost wonder if they mean Evangeline instead. which has also been pitched for adaptation a few times.
I guess this is from the guy who bought up all of Liefeld's IPs under him.
This thread is like if a king sent a messenger to someone, but the receiver didn’t listen to the messenger just because he didn’t like what color his shirt was.

I was describing Twitter.
What do any of these replies have to do with the comic?
nothing, and neither does yours
nobody cares
Twitter screencap gets you guaranteed replies. It’s ez money. Boomers can’t cope.

This.
Also Olivia Wilde sucks.
"crazy" how the thread went from a literally-who being adapted to "should we call it X or Twitter"
