That can't be a complete archive, as there's only 3 posts saved from Cinemaphile for Sept 25 2011...unless I'm using the filters wrong. That's the date given on the cwcwiki for when Sonichu was in the papers, which checks out because it would have been in a weekend paper which had the full colour pages where they put the Slylock comic.

Anon, the clear version IS proof that the strip is real. There's even a source for it. And sage.moe is as far back as you'll get. If memory serves, it's from 2006 to 2012ish, but it's text-only.
We'll never know if it actually was chris-chan that submitted it, but I could see it happen. Either in some rare moment of clarity or the submitting details being very clear about it being explicitly for kids aged x to y.
