Too much competition from other Sci-Fi shows

It was a victim of it's own showrunner and his profound arrogance that he could just keep it going indefinetly. Titan should've been pitched as a 10 episode mini series.
Because toy companies didn't want to make figures of Ilana and her mechsuit despite that being a crucial component of the larger robot.
Toy licensing in general was an issue because the toys for Secret Saturdays and Generator Rex (which were also pretty strict NO GIRLS ALLOWED fare) flopped hard. Like when my ToysRUs died in 2014 it still had Secret Saturdays crap rotting on the shelves.
Cancelled before it even aired. They spent more money than they could ever hope to make back.

There were not toys. There can't be toy sales if you don't license any. It was obviously just some dumb excuse or contract loophole to cancel it.
The creator wanted more money for the exact same product. They wanted toys if that was gonna be the case.

The mecha was boring and the soundtrack sucked. Compare the mecha action to Megas just a few years earlier. The best parts of the show were when it just followed the three protags and the hand to hand action
I've never seen this show, how do I know this ass shaking scene?
Show needed toys. Action shows need toys. Mecha, other than Transformers/Power Rangers if that counts, seems to have difficulty in the USA. I think this show had real potential. Maybe it would have done better if they dropped the mech aspect and just had them fight normally all the time.
