For me Star Wars is 1000% destroyed. I never envisioned the prequels in the way they were made by Lucas (although TPM was “ok”) and I never imagined the end for Luke Skywalker and the OT characters to be the way Disney imagined it to be. The TV shows fleshed out a Star Wars world that is alien to me and how I imagined it. I tried to hang with it for a while but I am now aesthetically repulsed by anything related to Star Wars, even the original unaltered OT is unwatchable to me because I can’t imagine it outside of the context of those other terrible movies.
