Why the frick would you just not let the team that make the hugely successful series make the movie? >Aussie series >Movie funded by Disney instead of the ABC and BBC like the series >Get a fricking Kiwi to direct
It's going to fricking suck
>I don't think you could keep it up for 90 minutes or more.
Make it 180 minutes. Bluey meets arthouse. About one episode worth of content with additional 170 minutes of filler cinema. Teach them some attention management.
I can't wait to see Bluey as Ms. Australia in the next MCU movie, with her sidekick Eureka!.
To be fair, they managed to make a play with a 50 min runtime. All they'd have to do is pull another half-hour out of their asses and you can call that a short film. I could see it working if it leans into a high ensemble feeling that passes the baton/PoV to different characters over the entirety of it, starting and ending with Bluey, like a marathon.
Okay but we've already had road trip episodes. Doesn't that feel like retreading old ground now? Unless its like, a race against the grey nomads, complete with explosions that would make Michael Bay blush. >tfw you and your Dad wipe the grey nomads off the map on your way to the big peanut
NO, keep that goofy butthole away from Bluey. He'll most likely try to work some gay or lesbian OC into it. Or turn some character gay or les. Actually...how would you guys feel about Brandy jumping the fence?
Wouldn't make sense for her character- not personally being able to pop out babies is a very heterosexual female concern, all considered. Plus it leans into the idea that people go gay out of a lack of options/desperation, which... yeah, no thank you.
There was a theory in a previous thread that Muffin in Charades has a similar moment to Bandit in See-saw; Muffin/Bandit saw that Socks/Pom Pom was feeling left out and pushed the kids around in order to include her/her, which is plausible in how Muffin is show to be attentive to Socks in episodes like BBQ and even just earlier in Charades. While I definitely feel like it's a bit of a stretch (countered by how much Muffin was soaking up being a ballerina), I like the idea that an episode that's been clause for so many people to hate Muffin to wind up being the exact opposite of the justification to hate her that they thought it was. Muffin being a very attentive and kind character vs. being an exuberant brat like is expected of her, I mean.
I like to imagine that Muffin is much more of a sweetheart than we ever get to see, for the sake of the plot. However, in the last batch we do see that Muffin being assertive like she is isn't always a bad thing. Which is good, because I love her and I wouldn't have her any other way.
I hate him so much.

How would you even make a feature-length Bluey movie? The series is nothing but 7-minute shorts.
I mean each episode feels a lot longer than 7 minutes
That's just the amazing pacing the show has. I don't think you could keep it up for 90 minutes or more.

Just use the road trip movie formula but with Bluey characters, it worked well for Sesame Street and the Muppets

It says gullible on the ceiling
Australia and New Zealand are very tight knit.
Hey man, maybe this forthcoming movie isn’t for you if you have to use the ole, “frick,” &, “suck.”
Like any self respecting Aussi would let a Kiwi touch their stuff

I refuse to believe that this is a real name.
