There's a few episodes available, but they're mixed in with some of the cartoon episodes.

i love television terror and fitting punishment. the one with cypher having 9 lives is pretty cool too

Funny, those are my least favorite episodes of S2, but the cat's lives one is indeed kino. S1, as short as it was, had this special atmosphere that the later ones didn't quite have anymore.

I agree. The one with the retiree whose wife keeps all the cats feels like a bad sitcom until the final shot which is actually really disturbing.
When I realized that every episode of the show was structured to have a "punchline" at the end, I really started to love it.

What's really funny is what happens when you realize how basically every single story is a morality play.

    Fave episode: Undertaking Parlor
(I think that's it's the name, the one where the kids team up to take down the town creep)
    Fave Season: probably that season.

        >Main character does literally nothing wrong
        >Villain gets no comeuppance
        >Main characters husband who also did nothing wrong is killed
        >she is left alone in an asylum with a dead husband and no voice
Nothing resolves in a satisfying way. It just leaves you feeling like shit.

It's one of those more "tragic" episodes, like the paranoid guy killing his pregnant wife.
Also, the villain dies of a heart attack. How much more comeuppance do you want?
Also, she GETS her voice back and the episode actually ends with her talking into the intercom.

That one was so over the top it was fun. It had a punchline.
Mute Witness was just a nice woman gets her life ruined for no reason haha then it just sort of ends...

              >then it just sort of ends...
WHAT KIND OF fricking end would you expect? The villain dies, she has her voice back and it's fricking Tales from the Crypt, why would it have a happy end?

                THERE IS NO PUNCHLINE

This is now known as the moron episode because only morons like it

But yeah, let's call it the moron episodes because morons apparently don't understand it.

Her husband died and the doctor wont face justice. He just died and that's it.
You think the girl power one liner saves this bleakfest?

The one where the photographer sends Steve Buscemi to the jungle town ravaged by plague was so good

Are you willfully being moronic? How are you missing everything I'm saying. His death is not the result of his own hubris and the main character loses absolutely everything. It's a meaningless episode. frick you and i hope you are raped by a horse and you ejaculate and have to live your life knowing that it happened.

                >His death is not the result of his own hubris
No, anon, it's YOU being willfully moronic. Of fricking course his death was his own fault. He killed his own wife, he tried to silence (tee-hee) the witness and everyone else and finally died because he was too fricking moronic to not be a frickin moron (like you) and the only person who could have helped him had all the reason in the world to not help him.

The worst thing about this is that the photographer episode is utter kino and now I am conflicted about my own tastes for agreeing with you.

If the episode were from the point of view of the doctor instead of the woman, it would have been better.
The ending just didnt satisfy me at all so I retroactively hate the whole episode.

I never even seen Yellow. I only stick to watching the ones I saw on cable tv as a kid and ignored everything else that came out after I stopped paying attention.

      > I only stick to watching the ones I saw on cable tv as a kid and ignored everything else that came out after I stopped paying attention.
      But… why?
      This is so fricking bizarre.
      >I love these shows I saw as a kid
      >there are MANY others I haven’t seen that would be brand new kino for me
      >but nah, I’ll stick to the same old shit and never experience the other, and new kino right in front of me

      What are you diagnoses?

        Anonymous

Well, not that I refuse to watch newer stuff. It's just that when I am in the mood for Tales from the Crypt, I just watch the older ones and I don't even pay attention. I keep that on for background entertainment and I already know the episodes like the back of my hand so I'm not missing out where putting a new episode on, I'd be lost whenever I glance at it.

The one with the voodoo priestess and the undead wife
The one with the twins and the fat manlet
The one with Tim Curry playing the whole family of hillbillies
The one with the thot and the woodcutters
The circus one with the female gorilla that wants human dick as the twist

    >Why is "Yellow" so overrated?
Yellow is boring as frick, way more of a depressing drama than actual Tales horror, the guy doesn't even come back as undead or whatever to kill his father and the rest of the squad, he just dies after countless suffering and that's it.

But I don't confuse that actress. She was on Red Shoe Diaries naked getting fricked by Joey from Friends.

      The twist isn't even bad.
The old geezer lost his money but also got his youth back in body in an attractive body which means he can just get rich again but now also has a working dick that can get almost any pussy.
The roastie he was in love not ending up with him because he didn't have money anymore if more of a blessing than a curse, you just know she's going to kill the old man for inheritance fast.

Tbf, he might have a young body, but his brain is still a bajillion years old. He would at best be on borrowed time until his mind started going into senility land, chad body notwithstanding.

Silly Arnold episode in season 2 was fun.

          >that's considered a virile, ripped young alpha male chad body in the 90s
          >despite the episode being directed by the biggest meathead with the most muscular physique known to society in general
what was Arnie thinking, did they just want the actor or something

It's strange how skinny and not really muscular the guy that's supposed to be the gigachad is when the episode was directed by Arnie himself, who was already a bodybuilder god
