Have you seen the shoulders on that farm boy? Guess all the travelling he does to report onsite news must be good enough exercize to keep in shape. Really, that Clark Kent can go mano a mano with Beast Boy is a credit to Clark Kent.

Do you know who really can't take a punch to save his life? Bruce Wayne.

isn't his shit magic based? All his forms should inherently be able to fight Clark

no, he's part of some force of nature thing, similar to the lantern corps but not magical in nature. I'm guessing it's not rare there's an animal that can actually be the predator of kryptonians, like in invincible when they find a planet full of beasts capable of beating viltrumites

Doesn't what he can change into depend on what planet he's currently on? The Red can't change him into, say, a Jatravartid, a species with more than fifty arms each (and therefore the only beings in the galaxy to have invented deodorant before the wheel) unless he were on whatever planet they happen to live on. If that's the case, would his powers just not work in space or something?

in the DC universe there's living creatures in space, like sun eaters or those weird penis whales, they might be still connected to The Red

      Beast Boy isn't magic.

Beast Boy is an Avatar of the Red, which is one of several Parliaments. The Parliaments haven't been fleshed out that much, but they're tied to specific concepts. Each Parliament has an Avatar or avatars, but the identities of some of them haven't been confirmed.

Red (Animal Life)- Animal Man, Animal Man's daughter, Vixen, Beast Boy

The Green (Plant Life)- Swamp Thing and Poison Ivy

      The Blaze (Energy)- Unknown

      The Melt (Earth)- Unknown

      The Metal (Technology)- Unknown

The Clear (Water)- Mera (unless they changed it)

The Grey (some writer have called it the Rot, associated with Fungi)- Solomon Grundy

There are other Parliaments, but I can't recall their names.

Doesn't what he can change into depend on what planet he's currently on? The Red can't change him into, say, a Jatravartid, a species with more than fifty arms each (and therefore the only beings in the galaxy to have invented deodorant before the wheel) unless he were on whatever planet they happen to live on. Beast Boy's shapeshifting is usually defined as 'he can turn into any animal as long as he knows what it looks like'. Doesn't matter what planet he's on.

        >he can turn into any animal as long as he knows what it looks like
I remember some justice league episode when they were on some other planet and he tried to change into a bird but actually became some weird pterodactyl like thing and he was surprised because he didn't know what the hell it was.

It may have been a DCAMU thing.

It may have been a DCAMU thing.

That’s a DCAMU thing, the comics has been keeping the concept of as long as Beast Boy has enough understanding of the creature, he can turn on it; as recently as the current Titans run he could turn into Starro after expending some time trying to understand how his physiology works.

It's always been up to the writer. Beast Boy used to have strict rules about what he could turn into, but by the end of the Wolfman run he was turning into monsters, dragons, and chimera. Johns had him turning into hive-mind bacteria swarms.

how come he can turn into dinosaur if they went extinct long ago and we only have fossils which are really hard or impossible to create an actual depiction of what the dinosaur might have looked like.
