Am I the only one who can't take these three movies seriously? The first one, at least, has some kind of coherent story, and a villain you can understand. But the second and third are just asspulls after asspulls, and Batman, who's supposed to be some kind of great detective, is always five steps behind. I guess I find the quality of the second and third villain disappointing.

I know people say they’re supposed to be sort of maturer films, but you shouldn’t have been prepared to take them that seriously. The stories work if you can ignore the plot holes, and the action is pretty cool in all 3. It’s the best trilogy of all time hands down
