Their next attempt at milking this rotting corpse of a franchise has to be a complete reboot. Arnold is a fricking sellout but even he wouldn't subject himself to yet another humiliation like Genisys and Dark Fate
A reboot is more fitting now than ever with the growing threat of AI
True. Honestly I would get rid of the time travel shit entirely, the future is already here b***h
Yes just start it all over with a clean slate. Refusing to let go of the baggage from the old movies is one of the biggest reasons those last couple of movies were so horrible. Just remake the first one, it can't possibly be shittier than what came before
>Terminator is trash since T1 and T2 >I know how to fix it! >Let's do a remake, it will totally work this time
The franchise went south with Terminator 3, everyone can see that, the tone is so unfittingly lighthearted and comedic.
Salvation wasn't great but they still should've just stuck with it. It wasn't a phenomenal story from 1-4, but it does somewhat make sense. Then Genisys and Dark Fate completely pulled it into ridiculousness with all that convoluted bullshit.
You seriously want yet another reboot? That's exactly what they tried TWICE with Genisys and Dark Fate, the 2 worst Terminator movies.
They should've just continued with 4 and brought the story to its logical conclusion of John Connor defeating the machines and sending Kyle Reese back.

That doesn't work. I can tell you with 100% certainty that will not work. You can't just remake Terminator, you can't remake Predator, you can't remake Alien. These movies worked on a simple premise that worked because you didn't know anything about the being in question and slowly learned more throughout the movie. Now everyone already knows everything there is to know about these, there is no mystery to any of this and you know what's going to happen almost beat by beat. There is no gain to be had from this other than nostalgia baiting.
Franchises with an open end need to constantly come up with new ideas you don't expect that still fit the world and aren't too convoluted, and if you can't then it's fine to end franchises. All of these franchises failed to really live up to that with all sequels except with Aliens and T2, because these were good new ideas that still fit into the world and were executed competently on top. (coincidentally both by James Cameron)
I'm not arguing that rebooting the series with a fresh continuity would result in a great movie, but it's preferable to a yet another "legacy sequel" or soft reboot where they have to come up with more convoluted explanations for how the timeline shit works and why 80 year old Arnold is there. The fact is Terminator is a recognizable property and they will make more movies in the near future, artistic integrity doesn't factor into this at all
Never, I hope. T3 send the best message about the series, you can't fight/escape your destiny (to continue the series forward) or you risk falling into a trap where you run in circles (remaking the T2 plot) again and again degrading yourself in each new cycle.
We need a Terminator/Alien/Predator universe unification. Hyperdyne = Cyberdyne, Dutch is the template used for Terminators because hes determined by skynet to be the best human fighter, John Conner somehow pits Predators against robots as the universes greatest hunters take note of the planet now filled with replicas if the human who beat one of their own. The conclusion of which sets the stage for the nostromos future discovery of the aliens as mankinds victory over the machines now sees Skynet and Cyberdyne in the hands of corporate profiteers with terminator-esque androids, adapted predator technology, and Ripley caught in the middle as they descend upon the alien home world. The ultimate climax is a future showdown of between man and predator in full war mode as the predators see the rise of the manape as dangerous to their empire.
also because Dutch disappears after defeating Predator - perhaps the machines brought him to the future to clone him and hes later saved by John Conner.
Terminator 1 when?

You think he wouldn`t?
Reboot in the right hands would be good but it won`t get into the right hands...

She actually looks pretty now. Her face was too pudgy before.
How fricking dare you?
I dare, sir.
Absolute brainlet lmao, it's the exact same face
Nice job exposing your faceblindness.
That picture is of her at the T3 premier... 20 years ago lol
Wrong, they reran T3 in my town last years specifically, and she showed up

she had lesbian bdsm fappening leaks
she's done.
>she had lesbian bdsm fappening leaks
Why wasn't I notified? Got a sauce?
Fine wine.
Unironically looks better now.
Are you brown?
Why both with the deception? She actually still looks good.
T3 was shit but she was the best part

They already kinda fricked this up with Alien vs Predator though where apparently Aliens already existed
>inb4 those weren't the REAL aliens!
doesnt matter its not a remake/reboot its a reimagining (which in legal terms means a whole new IP)
I mean that does kinda work, because Arnie happened to be in both Predator and Terminator
also because Dutch disappears after defeating Predator - perhaps the machines brought him to the future to clone him and hes later saved by John Conner.
