Nah,they are actually overall good films with interest themes and concepts and the characters are pretty creative
I'm an old ass man and I'm usually stuck in the 80s and 90s with most media but I agree. Those movies are brutal as frick, and I typically don't like torture porn, but they manage to be eerie and well shot, too. Definitely a modern slasher in league with the classics.
