Rob has to be insanely wealthy at this point. He's been keeping MTV alive single handedly for at least 8 years

kids. the amount of times I've seen it listed this year as "favorite tv show" during the little league world series is sickening

I defy you to find a cheaper format for a TV show. They probably shoot 6-8 eps a day. That giggly b***h's coke bill is probably the largest expenditure. Makes a Reality TV show look like a blockbuster epic in comparison.

Tosh was at least entertaining but wasn't it just a ripoff of Talk Soup or whatever?

I thought he was going to go do his show elsewhere or something but that man is just retired with his cash now.

It's essentially a rip-off of Talk Soup. Man, I miss John Henson Talk Soup.

you know, this makes me wonder. People talk a big fricking game about XQC and mongoloid and other gay streamers stealing and "reacting" to content, but millions of people watched this and RWJ on a regular basis. Really makes me think that its not that people are upset about lost revenue, its that everyone is feeling the economic squeeze and is closer to death at all times and now they feel obligated to fight for the pennies.

that era is when the internet was more of a broad tundra without clear direction on where to go, what to consume or who to talk to. it took a bit of time, effort, or knowing the right places to find content. it was all filtered through actual socialization, not social media, and youtube and other video site's best recommendations were just "here's the shit with the most views". now it's 3 or 4 sites/apps that everyone uses and an algorithm just knows what you are willing to look at, whether you asked for it or not.
