I don't think theres a band I like less than The Red Hot Chilli Peppers. They exist in this phantom zone where they're not good but they're not awful. Sort of like Faith No More. They're goofy and sexually repellant.
I used to think I liked FNM, but I really only like the Chuck Mosely albums and The Real Thing. The more Patton got involved in songwriting, the worse they got.
>that and last cup of sorrow are their only good songs
Neither of those are even the best songs on their respective albums. Epic is unironically one of their most mid songs and I kind of hate that's it's the one that got the most traction.
Best song on The Real Thing: lots of contenders but it's sure as frick not Epic. Falling to Pieces is great and a lot of people know it they just don't realize it's FNM
Best song on Album of the year: Ashes to Ashes

Great songs, but the guitar solo is still better in Epic

Best song on the real thing is zombie eaters and best song on album of the year is last cup of sorrow.

If you hate red hot chili peppers it means you've probably only heard surface level radio hits. Otherwise it's impossible to hate some of the groovy ass melodic jams they've come up with, unless you're a gay.

Well I think so, but what do I know I am just a man
If you think music is being weird for the sake of being weird and discussing FNM you're actually legitimately moronic.
Also, the whole "I grew up I'm mature now" is the definitive response of a no emotion brain dead loser. Just remember one of the greatest musicians to ever exist wrote this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C78HBp-Youk
They're geniuinely great artist.
I've been listening to some of their less known stuff like pink as floyd, hometown gypsy, feasting on the flowers and love of my life. Shit's amazing
I've always hated the fighting between the bands. I get it, for them, but it's dumb for fans to care. Both bands fricking rule and both release different music.
They only have one greatest hits CD and it's over 20 years old when frusciante came back and was super anti dave stuff so it's not too surprising. I also love aeroplane and one hot minute.
I take that back as soon as I posted it lmao, I forgot about what hits? Although I googled their discography to see if I was missing anything else, and while not a greatest hits per se they do have a compilation album of their time with warner called road trippin' through time and aeroplane is on that cd.
Did anyone pirate a Mr Bungle album in the early 2000's and there was some random song on it about a revolting pedo called Mr Nais?

Anthony Pienis is a nepobaby
No he isn't his dad was just a coke snorting scene gay in LA that was kind of popular.

it's high t music
I used to think I liked FNM, but I really only like the Chuck Mosely albums and The Real Thing. The more Patton got involved in songwriting, the worse they got.
the guitar solo from epic is, well, epic
that and last cup of sorrow are their only good songs and the one thats in san andreas is alright

Midlife Crisis

No
Well I think so, but what do I know I am just a man
So…you have conventional taste? Basically you’re unable to understand abstract music?
I grew out of listening to music that is weird for the sake of being weird because it might shock normies one day.
If you think music is being weird for the sake of being weird and discussing FNM you're actually legitimately moronic.

No, but you are talking about FNM like they are high brow experimental stuff
I never acted like they are high brow experimental, I literally just replied to your single post lol.
The post I replied to called FNM "abstract music".
By definition it is abstract music. Doesn't mean it's "high brow experimental" which sounds super gay to mention or say as well.
There's nothing abstract about FNM. They were a good funk metal band and Patton made them go moronic on integrating other genre elements.
>by definition
What is the definition of "abstract" and how does that apply to FNM?
Why can't zoomers fricking google and learn shit on their own?
Mr. Bungle is alright. Patton probably blew most his creative load on Mr. Bungles first album.

I've heard/listened to them before but I definitely don't know them well enough to have a valid opinion.
Angel Dust has so much reused from that album it's embarassing.

Personally I think californication is basically their weakest frusciante album.

Aeroplane has to be my fav song but it gets no love. It got a video but never made it on a best of CD that I have seen.

it's a bad song, sort of like Faith No More
Cool. Let's meet up for some ice cream.

Idk, but I love both bands so I really don't care and will enjoy discussing both.
Faith no More is vastly superior.
>cant get over the past
Name something good about the present.
