That’s a false equivalence and you know it. If you drop a bomb on someone and they die it’s your fault if you warned them it was coming, you illegally dropped a bomb on them.

But that’s not what jigsaw died. All of these people who died, died as a result of their own actions, not jigsaws. All they had to do was simply leave, but they chose to stay and die. Trying to blame jigsaw for their deaths is like trying to blame a driver for the death of his passenger, when the passenger refused to leave the car after it broke down on the train tracks and a train came by and hit it. The charges would never stick.

The victims of the nuclear bombs were warned by leaflets.

If someone left a leaflet on your doorstep, saying that they'd murder you next sunday and you didn't leave on sunday. when they murdered you it would you be your fault and they'd be completely innocent. right?

This example doesn't hold up. Jigsaw isn't doing the murdering. The people murder themselves using the traps. The choice was always theirs. Jigsaw doesn't have a hand in it at all. He's akin to a watchful guardian, a balancing force of Nature, a Dark Knight.

Do we even have any proof that jigsaw kidnapped these people? They all just wake up in his trap rooms and he gives them the best possible solution to escape. Jigsaw could easily just let them die but he chooses to help the kidnapped people to the best of his abilities through the use of advice on how to escape. Doing this means he is protected by good Samaritan Laws (He shall not be liable for any civil or criminal liability).

He must've not read the Illinois compiled statutes.

        > First Degree Murder, 625 ILCS 5/9-1(a)(2):

        >(a) A person who kills an individual without lawful justification commits first degree murder if, in performing the acts which cause the death:

        >(2) he or she knows that such acts create a strong probability of death or great bodily harm to that individual or another

And that is just the murder charge. It leaves out the slew of other felonies and aggravating factors. Jigsaw would be hyper-fricked.

          Anonymous

Alito contends that, legally speaking, Jigsaw isn't aware that such acts create a "strong probability of death or great bodily harm," as Jigsaw believes people will choose life over death, not to mention that Jigsaw isn't technically the one "acting" in these scenarios. It's the so-called victims who "act" in a way that results in their own deaths. The choice is theirs.

Citation needed. Jiggy's victims never consented to being placed in those traps in the first place. I want proof Alito is this stupid, because this line of reasoning upends a shitload of case law.

How do you even know that Jigsaw put them there? The victims don't remember who put them in the traps so it could've been anyone who shoved them into these traps. Jigsaw saw that the victims were going to die and gave them the best possible solution to escape which means he is protected by Good Samaritan Laws.

I’m going to have to stop you here. You are falling into this fools game when you refer to the contraptions, machines, rooms, etc., that are found at the scene where these people died as traps. They are not traps. A trap is defined as a device or enclosure designed to catch and retain animals, typically by allowing entry but not exit or by catching hold of a part of the body. In none of these so called “traps” was exit not allowed. These people could have simply left all these “traps” and that very fact proves that none of these were traps in the first place. Trap insinuates a malicious intent from the trapper and an unwillingness to be there from the trapee, which is why these haters keen using it. Stop playing their games, they were not traps, no court of law would see these as traps.

Again, Jigsaw saw people get stuck in his traps and tried to give them a solution so that they could escape. It sucks that these solutions cause bodily harm but it's not his fault the victims were stuck in his traps. What would you have had him do? should he have just let them die? Maybe the sick frick on trial should be you

Proof jigsaw put that contraption on him and turned it on? Just because jigsaw did not rescue him does not mean he is guilty of his murder, he has no duty to save as a civilian. This is the best jighaters have? Lol

I was gonna say that you are legally bound to help someone in danger but I realized that in shitholes like murica that doesn't exists and you can watch some crackhead that you could send to the hospital with a single punch rape a child only to later kill her in the most inhumane way possible and you won't be accused of shit...

Worse some guy sees him stabbing the girl and knocks the guy out and tries to save the girl but she ends up dying he might be accused if they though he didn't took the right course of action but you that stood there with a smirk in your face since the start and didn't do shit are considered innocent and can't be accused of anything.

The law doesn't exist to enact revenge on people you disagree with.

That's just because you're poor. With enough money and connections, the law can be whatever you want.

It's called duty to rescue and it exists on most Europe even fricking Russia and Serbia have that shit and you are not forced to do it if it endangers you, but are forced at the very least to contact authorities as long as that is within your reach and without prejudice to you.

Not being forced to take any action while some weird shit is taking place is some 3rd world shit.

Does this boomer not realise how cringe he is with the clown on the bike thing and his edgy voice and being all self righteous? Just shoot the people and stop being such an edgelord. Its embarrassing at that age.
