Shame they just don't make more "HBO miniseries" type shows. Not all shows need multiple seasons.

The interesting part of the story is finished. Them just naively going through their office and their outties not knowing what is going on. This is going the way of Westworld where after the first season the big gimmick is done and it just becomes some subpar drama show.
That said I still think it can be an interesting show IF the next season is the final one. If they plan on dragging this out for 3+ seasons then it's going to get a lot worse and filled with a lot of filler.
I loved the first season, but I have a feeling this should have been a single 12 episode miniseries. There's still room for more, but I agree with . At this point the central intrigue is in the company and its goals, but I don't really care about that. It was fine as satirical workplace abstraction.

It will probably do something moronic like have them all working back in the office like nothing happened. This is evidenced by the elevator chime going off at the very end of the season finale.
They could do something cool with Lumon trying to wipe the innies memories, but it ending up backfiring and them remembering everything anyway, slowly through various clues.

This. The premise is great, the setup is interesting enough, but then it feels like nothing throughout, I didn't even finish the season and don't intend to watch more. It's a shame because this could be good. I don't know how much of it is meant to be sci-fi or just lynchian surrealism, just not that interesting.

Basically the first season was a car driving off a cliff. It can either make a sick jump, or nose dives into a garbage pile.
