i agree with the sentiment but please explain to me why this image looks like it went through about sixteen different phone apps and then got gently cooked on a low simmer
It's an ancient image I have; it was hidden deep down in my folders.
Slow down on the samegayging,shroommeister
Image compression is funny.
the image gose hard, feel free to screenshot it (most apps and sites dont let you donwload images from them)
current Peter is more entertaining
>t. tik tok zoomer
The Simpsons were good for 8 seasons and south park was good for 14. You can try and refute one, but you can't refute both.
South Park stopped being "good" at about 8, and stopped being downright kino at 1
Family guy went straight to shit after 2
Anon you should really clean your folds sometimes
>starvin marvin is as bad as bass to mouth
As I expected, you have a stick up your ass. Remove it.
>This disingenuous comparison
Doesn't deserve a well articulated response
Then articulate your point or frick off, you stuck up c**t.
My point is that I'm judging a season by it's overall quality and not whether or not it had any good or bad episodes in it whatsoever, and you're being a cheerypicking little baboon
That aside wtf was your point in comparing Bass to Mouth, a 15th season episode, with Starvin Marvin, an 8th season episode, and suggesting I called them the same quality
I wouldn't have said that even if they were from the same season, or if the latter came earlier, but it didn't, it came from a season I said I dislike to actually what in the absolute dog niggling shit are you talking about
Your reduction of the show's quality by season alone lacks any reasoning, and you are a b***h.
The reasoning is that 8 was the last season that had more episodes I personally liked than ones I didn't, that's my reasoning
>Inb4 but that's just personal taste
Yes butthole it is, this is what we're debating over
Then hurry up already and state what's wrong with seasons 9-14, you moron.
I didn't like them as much I don't know why you're so unbelievably steamed about this
I was just here enjoying the first amendment stating my opinion on the interwebz and you came at me and demanded a thesis and now you're pissed I'm not providing
Season 8 was the last season I liked, I felt the show started becoming a lot more moralizing and focused on current events and less on ridiculous and funny plots at that time and the humor was starting to lose it's charm, I still liked a few episodes in the seasons onwards and there were plenty of episodes in the previous seasons I didn't like, I just noticed 8 is approx the cutoff where the good stops outweighing the bad
I want you to elaborate, moron. What episodes? What about them? If this is how good you are at expressing yourself critically, then you had no fricking point in posting in the first place.
We're on Cinemaphile you actual caveman, not debate club, I said my piece and I've yet to hear you articulate yours or do anything except winge at me
I could've said "I like stuff because penus weenus" and my statement would still have more worth than your birth, so get off your high horse
>he won't elaborate
Now frick off. If you can't actually talk about what you didn't like in season 9, then you aren't worth anything more than a back and forth until your butthole is full of (you)s.
I'm not the one who got mad anal disturbed because a guy expressed his opinions and didn't give a fricking TED talk on why he has them, we could've had a nice and relaxed conversation but you decided to get absolutely blasted because I dared submit my paper and not cite sources so now I'm not gonna elaborate on shit because you don't get to jump back n forth and find new ways to get peeved at me, you're a cretin and you deserve nothing
If you can't type one fricking paragraph about why you don't like something, then you lack the brain to use this website. Take your moronic ass back to the youtube comment section.
You mistake "can't" for "aren't fricking going to" dipshit
And if using Cinemaphile ever necessitated a brain we wouldn't have 90% of the catalog, where the actual frick do you think you are?
>this site sucks
So frick off, then. Twitter wants you back.
I didn't say it sucks I just said it doesn't take intellect to use, you don't need to get so defensive when we both know you're probably fresh off the latest shipment
Frick no I'm not going anywhere you're gonna have to put up with me
A pew pew pew post would measure higher in IQ than your meaningless vomit of a post. Go back.
If you were an oldgay you'd show it instead of trying to prove it. A tell of any "2014 veteran".
Fricking make me go, butthole
I'm not leaving till you can physically come to my house, move me out of my chair and type in the twitter URL in my browser bar
Until then I'm not going anywhere
Return to twitter.
I said make me, the only reason you won't come here and do it yourself is because you're so obsessed with me if you did come over you might fail to resist the urge to make me frick your ass
Take your homosexualry back to where it belongs, already. Your eceleb tweets are waiting.
I don't think you understand the situation, I'm not fricking going anywhere, either get used to having me here or, idk, keep crying about it if you please
We both know I said nothing to make you consider I'm a Twitter refugee, you just randomly said it because that's what you heard other 'epic oldgays' say when you joined 3 years ago, so cut the shit and stop pretending Cinemaphile is your home and you're defending it with some kinda honor
You're on a board where most of the catalog is e-celeb shit, industry drama or coom, and yet you got pissed that one guy voiced his opinions on which seasons of a long dead cartoon he prefers and didn't consult the ancient tombs while doing so
>more empty tracts of homosexualry
Just leave, anon. Spare the effort.
No frick you I won't
It's not a question. Go.
Not going
Begone.
No
You have to go.
Not happening buddy
It's going to happen. You're gonna frick off and get back to making worthless tweets.
Not until you explain to me in detail what makes you think I'm a Tweeter in the first place
Go on, answer to your moronic assumption
Your lack of explanation for why you dislike something. I can skim any thread on this catalog and get a verbose post on why someone hates something. You can't do that, and that outs you.
Yes because everyone on Cinemaphile is an eloquent bastard and Twitter is the only place in the world where people don't go on a tirade for every single inane thought they have
Shut up loser just admit you went "Twitter!!" the same way Twitter gays go "chud!", it was just a kneejerk reaction that you can't explain because you're a fricking amoeba working off of instincts
will you two just frick eachother already
>this site sucks
is literally an oldgay statement, only newbies go 'oh mah gawsh 4chinz is the best website evaaah!'
oldies know it sucks we just like it here
>Starvin Marvin, an 8th season episode
starvin marvin is literally a season 1 episode
South Park became shit post-movie.
the movie was pretty damn good
Yes it was, which is the reason I think the show went to shit afterwards.
The Trey and Matt got so much praise from it they becamse enamoured with the smell of their own farts, they began to thought of themselves as visionary auteurs who were making high art instead of the class clowns who write kids swearing they really are, and so they turned South Park into the preachiest tv show of all time.
i firmly believe no show can run for 10 seasons and still be good, not a single one
most don't make it past 3 or 4 but if you're past 10 odds are you've got shitty poopoo on your hands
JoJo hasn't dropped the ball so far.
What are some good family guy episodes?
The ones where you watch American Dad instead.
JUST FRICK ALREADY
I think the issue is old staff understood him as a character and the new staff have only ever understood him as a joke dispenser.
i find the phenomena of old staff having a complex network of ideas that define a character, whereas new staff just copy the end result and aren't prevy to said network, to be pretty common
i think that's also what happened with spongebob, at least early on when it just began sucking, before they decided to just stop trying to mimic Spongebob and start doing their own thing
Something I noticed about The Simpsons is after like season 9 or 10 Homer became annoying. He went from likable moron to obnoxious moron and I'm not sure if this is because the writing just got worse in general or they just forgot what made him likable
season 8-10 is generally where people think things changed for the worse. For me, I feel like the side characters they introduced after then felt really off. It's hard to explain, but there's a difference between Lyle Lanley from the Monorail episode and the dude who ran the sanitation department in that season 9 episode.
okay let's talk good season runs from my top 5 favorite cartoons (i'm skipping TGAMM since we all know i only watched the andrea episodes and horse show cuz not allowed)
>Adventure Time (1-3 amazing seasons, 4 good season, 5a mid season, 5b-10 boring tumblr tier)
>Star Vs (1-2 amazing seasons, 3-4 somewhat boring seasons with a few good episodes here and there)
>Total Drama (1-3 nostalgic seasons, 4-6 bad, 7 overrated and kind of dull on rewatch, 8-9 significantly watered down and carried by julia)
>Gravity Falls (1-2a good seasons, 2b slightly less good half season)
>Spongebob Squarepants (1-3 "classic" seasons, 4-6 nostalgic for me sometimes extremely funny sometimes boring seasons, 7-9 less interesting seasons with good episodes here and there, past that i'm not a fan of the current era but some of its ideas are fun)
Not sure if many will agree, but while I liked Spongebob Season 3, it was clear Nickelodeon was treating it as a cash chow at that point, especially with it having a few subpar specials.
