It wasn't for no reason. It's boring as shit. The gore is good, wolf is kool and the fact it actually followed up on the cliffhanger from the first movie are all positives. But the human characters all suck and its the most boring story/setting out of any of these movies. Also it's too dark to see half the time. Idc that it's supposed to be dark, you can shoot a movie to be dark but still visible, aliens did it just fine.
