They've both been in the Circus the longest and both the most broken of the cast so a desperation play from either would make sense narratively and character motivation wise.
I want to see the cast be short a member for some kind of dumb game so Caine just drags someone out of the cellar and factory resets their brain to fill the slot only to dump them back into the monster pit at the end.

i ended enjoying Gangle, Kinger and Zooble way more than i expected, i feared the show would've focused just in Jax, Ragatha and Pomni, heck even Jax splitting the teams feels like this. But i ended enjoying the B team a lot.
It was a nice moment that actually played with both their moral character and how fricking broken they are as people, that playing rock paper scissors to save a friend actually makes sense in that situation

Unlike everyone else, I'm more worried about Ragatha and her state of mind. Because this pilot as well as how she felt after getting fixed, makes me concerned for her wellbeing. She feels like she could be a future Abstraction case, but it'd be tragic and sad because she's the one trying to hold on and help Pomni, only for her to succumb to time and break down.
I'm assuming the cast is gonna get picked off throughout the series and then the finale Pomni and Caine who are the only ones left save them all (not from the simulation, just from being abstracted). And also along the way they anger some lovecraftian entity that shows them the true form of the demiurge because this is a gooseworx show
I wonder if the show will reveal or give off hints of who each member used to be. Because Gooseworx has said they all have a reason for being there, as well as how much they deserve to be stuck in the digital purgatory. Jax in particular was said to be the most deserving one.

Yeah, I think a lot of Caine's answers are going to be "I don't know." He's got one main directive, and that's entertain and delight everyone in The Amazing Digital Circus with adventures and wonder. I think a particularly interesting angle to take this in is that if Caine himself thinks about it too long, he might risk abstracting or shattering the circus to pieces, but he's pre-programmed (or too stupid) not to even bother doing so to begin with.
That's honestly kind of my favorite part of Caine, he's not malicious in the slightest but he's the god of an incredibly small world who wants to make the people in it have fun and be happy and is godawful at it. He only knows what's in the game already and when tasked with trying to make an Exit for everyone he is only able to base it off the incredibly limited view of it he has. The only one he doesn't seem to be fond of is Bubble and as plenty have speculated there might be more to him being the reason why.

Given all the doors that Pomni checks, I don't think the Circus is "small" at all. Rather, it's only limited by the fact that Caine knows literally nothing about the human experience and thus sooner or later,everyone goes hopelessly insane because they either get overwhelmed by the constant stream of insanity or they break because it's complete unreality and they can never go back home.
It's small in the sense that as a 90's point and click game most likely made for children there's only so many assets and things the game would be able to understand. Caine's spent years expanding it but he's still ultimately working in a bubble.
Given the planets that in the background of
and the doors leading out into things like an endless pitch black void with a spiral of stacked merry go-rounds, I'm not sure it's even a simple "game" anymore. Ever since Caine went off the deep end, I think the Circus has just been internally expanding without end.

I'm going to go off a limb and say that this show is going to be a convoluted allegory for social media. Someone in a previous thread pitched a theory that the Digital Circus doesn't actually trap anyone, it just makes a copy of a person's mind, and I think that's what people do in a sense when they engage with the internet. You're presenting your mind, with all it's thoughts and quirks, by shitposting, consuming porn, watching videos, downloading stuff, engaging in arguments, talking with friends, etc and unintentionally archiving your thoughts and online history via your computer.
I think this can be further supported with Goose's fascination with people living fake worlds. Little Runmo lives in a video game and breaks it by going out of bounds. At the end of 'Elain gets Adopted' Elain visits a realm where Gods consume people's data and becomes apart of the world by having her 'data' consumed and applied to the world. What all social media companies do at their core is collect data on people and then try to maximize engagement by feeding you things familiar to you or using it to train other services like image recognition or diffusion/language models.

Well Cane is the host/ring master for some kind of show and it does seem like there can only be a limited number of human participants at a time (6,) so my first thought was some kind of e-celeb show with the humans being represented by their former online avatars.

The aesthetic is awesome, love the designs and expressions.
The writing and characters so far are pretty engaging and leave a lot of room to be expanded on.
If I had one complaint its that the contextualization of the setting as a "children's show" makes it feel a bit too close to DHMIS. I feel like with a little tweaking the setting could have felt a lot more unique.

The awkwardness between them was definitely a bit forced. Like, who could blame Pomni for running away from a weird glitchy monster when she couldn't do anything to save Ragatha? Would've worked better if when she was around Caine had mentioned that Pomni tried going into the exit door instead of going to him for help with Ragatha's glitchiness, then she would have had a reason to feel betrayed by Pomni.

pretty okay, the animation was pretty good and set design really good, some eh jokes and some good ones and a pretty decent cast of characters
honestly i think the only issue i had with the cast is that we just dont get enough of some of them, like ragatha or gangle

I pretty much called it that, like the Murder Drones pilot, it's going to be somewhat rough and have its obvious flaws - but in the end be an overall good pilot that shows the general feel and style the show is going for. With how Glitch listened to feedback from Murder Drones' pilot and smoothed things out accordingly, I'm absolutely confident that they'll listen to what people say and iron out whatever issues there are - just like what they did with Murder Drones. Isn't that what Pilots are for? Testing the waters with the core concept and then tweaking it for the actual episodes to come later? I believe in Glitch's process honestly. Murder Drones set a good prescedent and I'll be waiting for more Amazing Digital Circus in the future.

Part of me wnat so go in detail hwo I think this show might go, but I also don't want to be dissapointed when it probably won't be that.
I don't how realistic it might to be expect this to be truly great, I mean TRULY great, like an OTGW or something.

There's at least a few different ways in my head I can see this going.
One of which is being almost directly inspired by the Twilight Zone episode "Five Characters in Search of an Exit", which it already seems pretty inspired by and just to give context
The episode is about 5 people trapped in a featureless box of nothing with no way out, and the constant ringing of a bell to torment them. In the end it's revealed the box is a just a toy donation bin and they were all lifeless dolls from the start. Oh and one of them is a clown
Just based on that, there's a few different ways it can go. Will it? I don't know. Again, I don't wanna make any judgements yet, or presume anything.

Honestly, it might be just me, but I feel like I got everything I would out of this world/characters with just the pilot in regards and there’s not too many lore question left open like MD besides just explaining “What the Circus is exactly?” Which might not need an answer. It feels more like a short story like Little Runmo or Elline gets adopted then a pilot
I would still love this to get a full season to see what Goose can do with it but if it just stays a pilot like Long Gone Gutch or Cliffside, I’m okay with that as well

She and Gangle feel like the most under-developed ones for sure. I suspect Gangle will have a multiple personality/dissociative identity disorder deal with personality and behavior changing based off of the masks she wears. Zooble is a question mark though, I have no idea where they'll take her character (unless if the Goose plans to kill off characters and replace them with new ones as the show goes along.)

IMO splitting up the cast was kind of a bad idea for first episode. They should've all been together, interacting with Pomni to give a better idea of their personalities and motives.

I think Kinger has the potential of having the most depth of the bunch. He was mostly just comic relief in the pilot but with the no so hidden clue of a dead love intrest and being the longest survivor in the Circus there's a lot Goose can do with him. He gives me the type of vibe that would end up either being the secret villain or sacrificing himself to save the day.
