I feel like the Gwimbly episode is kind of overrated. It tried to rehash the Plot A Plot B setup of the pilot but without any of the charm. It was mostly the noveltt of seeing Hoolopee animate a shitty pixelated model doing Rick & Morty tier gags.
That was my biggest gripe as well. The fact that it ended with seemingly-impossible-to-please character seeing something gruesome and smiling. I actually really liked everything else but they really didn't stick the landing.
