The final season had them all transported to the 1950s and back in high school and the final episodes had an angel give them back all of their memories back from their original lives, but edited so that they weren't as fricked up from the bear attacks or serial killers or cults or witchcraft or superpowers
The final episode was Betty in 2023 finding out that all of her friends had died and she was the last one. So an angel looking like Jughead took her on a trip through time to relive the last day of High School, and helped her remember what happened to everyone and how they died
and then it ended with her dying and joining them all in The Sweet Hereafter, which for them just looked like Pop Tate's in the 50s forever
I watched the trailer and the way language was used was really jarring. Some lines switched from English to Hindi mid-sentence and some characters spoke in one language only to get a reply in another. Was the actual final film like that? It seems like it'd be obnoxious.

English is the lingua franca in India. Everybody mix their local language with English, especially the upper classes
