Where's the nipples?
They lied to me
Excuse me anon but she's still wearing clothes.
For me, it's when The previous doctor travels back in time mid-fight to molest Swift as a child so she has a PTSD flashback. Legitimately the funniest and edgiest shit.
that was from the authority? I always see that posted in one page threads
Poster is confusing members. The old racist doctor molested Engineer not Swift.
Also, Millar > Ellis Authority run due to the fact that Ellis's runs have really bad slow pacing issues whereas Millar's run has each arc running at a brisk pace so it never feels like you are reading filler.
Also, second reading Stormwatch before Authority though be warned: The Wilcats/Aliens
(yes, Ellis had so much hate for Stormwatch that he put their deaths in a fricking Wildcats special not a Stormwatch one) special is only available in an increasingly hard to find TPB called Stormwatch Final Orbit that had a super blink and miss print run. Later trade printings (which also have very shitty issue mappings) outright omit it.
It wasn't Swift, it was the Engineer
It's politically CORRECT edgelord. The goat licker has other politically incorrect shit.
I'm going with Switf and that dude with all the dental tools. Swift as a sexually abused housewife works too.
Yes. Yes. It's one of millar's better works. Over the top edgelord late 90's early 2000 crazy justice leage sort of shit.
Good advice. Otherwise you hear a bunch of meaningless b***hing about Bendis I mean Bendix the bastard.
On a side note anyone hate how dirty Ellis did Bendix? Pre-Ellis Bendix was pretty cool and a nice guy/friends with Batallion and Synergy and helped keep the team going when Batallion was presumed dead and his dad Despot was about to enslave humanity. Nowadays if Bendix shows up, he's only written as pure eve and thanks to the bullshit "The Wild Storm", now fricking racist too because God Forbid Batallion and Bendix still be friends.
you such a homosexual have a nice day
>le heckin politically correct edgelord
do yourself a favor and have a nice day
Is Authority good? Is it worth a read?
If you want to get the most out of it you'd have to read Stormwatch first. Authority was a complete takedown of the idea about an Avengers group in the edgy 2000s. Funny enough it's canon the thing that destroyed Stormwatch was an infestation of xenomorphs from Alien.
>Funny enough it's canon the thing that destroyed Stormwatch was an infestation of xenomorphs from Alien.
What? How? Aren't these guys crazy powerful and bit outside of xenomorphs' weigth class?
Wound up being the point. They tried to brute force against the xenos and that knocked a bunch out:
>One guy was sentient gas in a containment suit that was super strong. Xeno blood on his suit and he got sucked into the air vent.
>Stormwatch Black were off-site and used this to make The Authority
>Majority of Stormwatch's crew weren't meta-human and so they got egg'd up quick
Yes
No, it's the worst kind of edgelord shite
Definitely
Mark Millar writes edgelord slop, yes.
I read it for Quitely, and lost interest whenever he wasn't drawing, even if this was during his quality dip.
It's good fun. Probably the Authority's best run.
Wildbow sure thought it was great. He even put in a baby killin scene
Seth is the answer to: what if epstein had superpowers?
