Mocking addicts isn't big or clever.
Literally me except I'm not fat and have a cool mustache. Anthrax isn't even an issue if it's polybagged
Reading it for free to make fun of it isn’t much of a loss.
this, people need to get that whoever is left reading is usually pirating this shit
Man even art doesn't look good, it's like some trying to draw like the Kuberts but not understanding how the style works and like drawing on top 3D models along with bland coloring make it look worst.
It does look like a bad version of Andy Kubert! Well spotted.
Is Marc richer than Bruce?
frick snyder, frick tynion the gay the fourth
I love shitty Batman. My favorite is the time Booster Gold, who’s entire job it is to prevent people from fricking with the time stream, went back in time to prevent batman’s parents murder. He is then absolutely gobsmacked to see that Bruce Wayne is not Batman. He is doubly surprised when Bruce Wayne refuses to help him go back in time and kill his own parents. After fixing the timeline, he later laughs about this with Batman and Catwoman over coffee. And he was a good friend.
That was a weird one. I also remember at the time how proud TK was to be writing Booster and Wally as if the fans would be excited about what he had planned
Man, Tom King really loves shitting on Booster Gold, it's like he read his wikipedia page and assumed the entire character instead of reading literally anything he's in. Even the Giffen and DeMatteis run on Supper Buddies paints a more flattering picture of him than King. Especially with him jobbing to Harley Quinn.
I didn't know anything about Booster Gold, but those issues were entertaining. I doubt they were supposed to be funny, but it was like an incompetent hero who thought everything he did benefited others.
Isn't that like the Tick?
How are the games ?
Steam is having a bundle sale with all 3 game of the year editions with all dlc for 8 bucks
I'm new to DC and comics in general and I only picked them up because I liked injustice and for power girl and Harley Quinn
Will I like the bat man games ?
Probably, the Injustice games are kusoge
The storyline is awesome
and I suck at fight games so the simple controls make it fun to me
Arkham games are very good
I haven't finished a Batman comic since Morrison's run.
City of Bane was the turning point for me. I was so bored by it i just stopped reading Batman altogether. I didn't even make it halfway through.
The thing about the soap opera is: no matter how bad it gets, you’re among friends.
Person on the right looks cool what's their name
Moor Night
stockholm syndrome is a prerequisite for the fanbase
I don't know if it's the editors, soulless artless creators, shitty digital coloring or stock uniform look / textbox / font but every Batman comic is so pointless and forgettable now. As far as I'm concerned the comic ended with Morrison's run because the only thing I've liked since is outliers like Batman: Universe or 66.
What else has been decent of the era? Snyder and King sucked.
>What else has been decent of the era?
Tomasi
No.
Yes
This is why I can't take seriously DC or Batman
-BEWARE, THE LEAGUE OF EVIL
-Darkseid
-Sinestro
-Some chick wearing clown make up
like, what is she gonna do, throw a cake to my face? say very offensive jokes?
street level supervillains just don't make sense as a big issue in a world with superman
>street level supervillains just don't make sense as a big issue in a world with superman
That's where good writers come in.
I never understood how Superman and Justice League have a presence in Gotham, but there are only a handful of villains with actual superpowers.
>It's another "He's Batman if Bruce killed people"
How many of these knock-offs do we have now?
wasnt this done with ras al ghul first?
You somehow picked one of the 3 Bat villains who doesn't fit that description
where does
>"He's Batman if Bruce killed people"
fit most of the batman villians?
Ras just sees that Gotham is cursed and wants to get rid of the city as a whole to stop crime and corruption of society.
In my opinion closer ideologically then other villians
There's the crackpot idea of "All of Batman's villains are just twisted versions of his psyche"
Like, "Penguin is Bruce if he was obsessed with money", "Riddler is Bruce using his intellect for evil means", "The Joker is Bruce if he let his One Bad Day make him go evil", ect.
Technically Deadshot is first. His whole original MO was to be "The Better Batman" because he shot crooks.
>Cat
>Bat
>Cat
>Bat
I downloaded and read all volumes of New 52 and Tom King's run of Rebirth. Don't know if I'll read the what's next.
Only parts I really remember are Kite Man's origin, Booster Gold, and the Jokes Vs Riddles or whatever arc. Anything else was just boring and unnecessary.
If anything I'll only stick with Batman specials, like Black & White and older mini-series.
I honestly believe Ghostmaker is the coolest thing added to Batman in over a decade, I liked all his backup stories and I like how he's in charge of Batman Incorporated or w/e the hell is going on now.
Is it true they've been bringing back Morrison stuff?
