I don’t really understand the praise. There’s many kitchen oriented movies that are better than this, “Boiling Point” being one of them.
As for the plot, I don’t get why Carm apologized to the two people that fricked up big time on the previous episode: Sydney for being an insufferable know-it-all who’s so much in love with herself that she can get herself pregnant, and Marcus for being an autistic manchild.
The fact that neither one of them apologized to him or at least admitted that they indeed messed up bothered me. Carm’s outburst was justified.
That’s why the whole “we’re a family” thing is toxic: people start to believe that they’re entitled to the same privileges while having zero responsibilities. It’s Carm and his sister that own the place, and owe money to both the mob and the IRS. All the other workers can take off without anything/anyone biting them.

real kino doesn't require you to completely waste your time with DOGSHIT in order to get to the payoff. the entire thing is enjoyable, the best moments even moreso. show sucks - simple as, get over it.
