It was really good up until all the mystical stuff came in. Almost like Miyazaki was trying real hard to make another Spirited Away and it had none of the imagination. Just weird stuff for the sake of it.
I liked it but I'm not sure if all of the otherworldy stuff in the tower realm was supposed to be a cohesive metaphor or just a grab bag of visuals to represent life and wonder and shit. Still enjoyable and I liked the kid getting to see a version of his mom again
i just marathoned it
You shouldn't run inside movie theaters
We’ve got a funny guy over here
for you
funny how?
The entire time I kept thinking it was somewhat like a French film. I don't know why.
The bussy
I like Miyazaki and this was trash.
t. bird lover
I'm a bird lover and enjoyed this movie for its various depictions of birds
Which bird was your favorite, anon?
Heron in heron form, doing heron things, is hard to top. The whole parakeet kingdom was fun. I felt for the dying pelican, let them eat the warawara
>tranime
Is heard the heron is a tengu and recently found out tengus were inspired by israelites. Is the story antisemitic or does the heron help the lad?
It's accurate to real life

Not even the best anime movie from this year
>CGI
>good
ok weeb
just another nonsensical miyazaki slop drop. watch it if you're baked and just want visuals
>baked
kek no wonder a degenerate weedsucking hedonist can't enjoy a simple miyazaki film, stick to the fortnite compilations bozu
The movie felt to high-brow for me to understand. Why did the step mother have to have the baby in the other world? And why wasn't he allowed in?
I just assume everything has something to do with Japanese culture and spirituality
I liked it but I'm not sure if all of the otherworldy stuff in the tower realm was supposed to be a cohesive metaphor or just a grab bag of visuals to represent life and wonder and shit. Still enjoyable and I liked the kid getting to see a version of his mom again
Yep
So does Robert Pattinson understand voice acting better than someone like Chris Pratt?
Pattinson has always been /ourguy/
