Marv Wolfman was wrong to make the TEEN Titans adults as early as the 80s, I attribute that decision as one of the primary reasons the comic has been a messy disaster ever since
That’s what filtered me from ever getting into the comics. As a kid who liked the show I was interested in checking out their comic counterparts but upon seeing their Greek statuesque figures and everyone including the girls having chiseled faces I just couldn’t do it. Though these days I do appreciate George Perez’s art.
That's just how teenagers who did sports looked(and still look) like, really. At a job I used to work at the bosses were big into their kid's high school/college sports so they'd get athletes for intern jobs(really just paid to hang around and talk sports with them) and all of them looked like 35 year olds. Even dressed like older normie guys too. 18 year olds who were 6'3'' with chiseled jaws and five o'clock shadow.

Can Beast Boy at least lead a team? I hate this push of just having Beast Boy being Raven's emotional support. He used to lead a small team, and I liked that.
