The best Superman stories aren’t about him fighting some super villain
But a slice of life story where his life is completely weird and/or super
Such as: being depressed because a witch gave homa lion face,
Or going back in time to meet his parents on krypton
Or stoping Lois from marrying an evil robot
The best Superman story is the one that's never told.
Way to be a killjoy homosexual
I like them somewhere in-between.
Would be fun if they did “one issue” stories so every month you could mix it up
>one month : a comedy about Jimmy Olsen becoming mayor
>second month : Superman becomes Super Werewolf of metropolis
>third month: evil alien dictator invades earth
Those are moronic. The best superhero stories are about him using his powers to do things that no one else could do.
I agree
I’m trans BTW
people like one punch man for that reason

That's sad...who even reads that shit?
No one, not even the people who advocate for it. They'll read a handful of 50's-60's Superman stories and call it the heckin' best thing ever
Silver age Superman was selling like 300-500 K copies. Now, he sells cancellation level.
just that little? that's pretty pathetic. Even when they were big comics didn't sell close to manga.
Most manga doesn't sell that well
Superman 10x better when he was just doing goofy shit in the silver age.
Sadly we haven't had those stories since the crisis. The last great Superman story in continuity was for the man who has everything. They then rebooted Superman to be a Marvel character.
There's a couple of issues of Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen during Jack Kirby's run where Superman goes to stay in Supertown on New Genesis for a while. At first he loves it there because everyone is a New God like Orion and Lightray and the Forever People and superpowers (super strength, super speed, etc.) are commonplace and the technology is more on par with what they would have on Krypton versus the comparatively primative Earth. Eventually Superman realizes that while he enjoys New Genesis, his real home is Earth and he has a duty to protect it so he goes back to Earth.
