He wrote superhero series because those are the only comics that he could get made. What he really wanted to be writing was war comics.

I just hate how Enis & Millar keep getting richer and richer and their projects doing amazing while Morrison who is a superior writer can't get his work adapted and doing well.

yep creativity is chaotic and some people are so creative they can come up with really cool concepts but the executions is messy.
Other people are more orderly,incapable to think outside of the box but very good at optimizing and polishing pre established ideas.
Adaptation should always be made by orderly people.
