This meme is so fricking stupid. He blatantly kills multiple people in every film after kidnapping them and even places them under duress to kill other people (for example the one with the cheating girl and the saws). Even Saul Goodman couldn't defend John Kramer and I doubt any of you could actually put forth a legitimate defence that would absolve him of guilt before anyone let alone a jury.

While probably still better than actual prison, I think people who have never been to a looney bin think it's some comfy experience.
It's real fun when some moron down the hall screams his lungs out at all hours of the night and some crazy b***h smears shit all over the walls. Well, maybe it'll stop bothering a person as they're slowly being chemically lobotomized.

Its nothing like that anymore. I was in the looney bin for a few years after a mental breakdown and it was awful but in a completely different way. My breakdown was due to being on the internet too much I guess. I started to have strange ideas and I blame partly Cinemaphile for it. Anyway the experience was awful, because every night around 3. AM some of the workers there dressed up as farmers with yellow facepaint and came in and did unspeakable things to me. I guess they must have gotten my file from one of the doctors. Traumatic but also cathartic in a way. A toast to psychiatric care.

He doesn't qualify for the insanity plea. Also he would just be put in the psych ward of a prison for life.

He wouldn't even be put in a real prison he's dying he'd just spend the rest of his life in a fricking hospital at best. No matter what the charges are, guilty or not, he's not spending a single day in the slammer. He wins either way

Amanda, Detective Hoffman, Dr. Gordon, and the guy from the Jigsaw movie were the ones guilty of kidnapping.

John Kramer himself kidnapped MAYBE 1 person and that was Cecil when he killed his unborn son.

Loitering and trespassing, you don't own these warehouses so go one and get out of here before we call your parents

former retired judge here. legally, there's nothing that we see on film that can really be grounds for prosecution. unless there's some parking violations or broken tail lights I missed, legally, we're powerless to stop him or even grant a warrant, seeing as how building contraptions and giving people choices to use them doesn't violate any written law I can think of. however, I find his actions morally apprehensible, as he indirectly caused the deaths of tens of people by giving them the choice between life and death and then suicidally they chose death. actually aiding in suicide might be a crime. I'll have my people look into it

you have to be utterly moronic to think you have chance at getting him. Trust me I went to Law, this film has been meticulously checked from every angle. You have a long, hard case that might span decades without any breakthrough, there is also very serious chances of getting wide spread condemnation from AARP, UICC and many other institutions. Let's say you are insane enough to go through with this, at worst he gets 3 weeks of medical evaluation in a safe and controlled environment and maybe 40-50 hours of communal services, that's it.
