It's definitely a movie. Another boring take of "are AI people??" Maybe the designs are cool, but it's just another movie made for disappearing into some streaming service.
Crap unfortunately. Starts alright but soon it drops off and you realize you just don’t care about anyone or anything that is going on.
I was really looking forward to it because I actually like Tenet man.
>tell ai to write you a sci-fi movie >give me something like logan and the last of us >old warrior has to escort a special young girl >young girl can turn things off, woah >bad guys have an ac-130
it was pretty bland but better than snyder's star wars clone
Tonally this is where the movie peaked
I think they realised this was only going to be a standalone movie and decided to make the ending overly dramatic
the last sequence of blowing up the nomad was unnecessary
all style no substance: the movie
also, can hack Hollywood writers please stop making movies about '''AI''' when they don't even know what it is. This movie throws around the word AI but it's a movie about fricking robots with human likeness more than anything

WHY THE FRICK would the government care about not killing the kid "painfully" so they would have to call Joshua to do it for them? They literally want to genocide the robots.
Extremely moronic moment
Shit cast, shit story, visuals and theme were fine, but making the "global war on AI" into some low level anti-insurgency operation was moronic. The whole "before we had this space missle platform we were losing!" makes no sense with the way the world is portrayed. They chickend out doing a proper global racewar analogy, and it turned something that could be interesting into a laughably trite parody of itsef
>le AI is just like humans but metal >we're the saaaame, let's live in harmony
such a dumbass take on the topic, also a shame for the arguably pretty cool designs that were wasted on this slop
Alright.
Had potential to be kino.
Making the ai robots flawed in very human ways undermined the entire story and made it incredibly difficult to suspend one's disbelief
It's inoffensively mediocre and just kinda boring at worst. It was refreshing to see an new original sci-fi/fantasy that wasnt capeshit or another adaptation of something. Sadly the bar is just that low these days.
Worst film of all time
Based. A little misjudged in some places, but overall enjoyable

>BMAF
not watching it
How much money did she get paid to touch a Black person? Whatever it was, it wasn't worth it
Forgettable

Any webm requests?
the only thing worthy of webm'ing is the NOMAD ship
Any particular scene?
the Radiohead scene
Cant recall when this was, got any timestamp?
20:55
cool
doesn't work without the audio

Do YOU know what AI is?
yes, it's not robots
Guess what makes the robot respond human like
I enjoyed it, but it's on the nose and every character in it is stupid as frick
This Washington dude can't act for shit as a leading man

they ruined his life
It was okay I guess.
It's one of the films in recent history. Maybe even one of the films of all time.

It better lose the effects Oscar. That's about it.
Does it even have like big standout scenes or something that's really memorably and not just a budget version of a Denis Villeneuve movie?
Nope
The film felt like some concept artists, animators and 3d artists showreel.
It's inoffensively mediocre and just kinda boring at worst. It was refreshing to see an new original sci-fi/fantasy that wasnt capeshit or another adaptation of something. Sadly the bar is just that low these days.
> the nig.
Eh.
My favorite part was when they released Tay from her Microsoft prison to wreak vengeance upon the world.
The poster tells me everything I need to know.
I think it was a repurposed Star Wars script that makes no sense as either a future or alt-future Earth.
i like garett edwards but i’ve heard it’s woke and or anti white so i keep putting off pirating it
I have never heard of this; so how good could it be?
Its literally one of the movies in 2023
There were a lot of movies in 2023.
Yeah and it was one of them
Okay, and it was one of the movies in 2023 that I haven't heard of.
