He has been consistently amazing in this.
Yea i've seen him plenty before and he was always good but his acting in this show is the standout performance imo. I was deep into the first episode before i even realised it's him.
He played a mental brother in Good Time and was so convincing I seriously assumed he was just a mental person. Guy has great acting chops.
Yea that was the first film i saw him in and i remember thinking he was an actual moron as well, but i didn't think too much of it because Safdie didn't have that much screen time compared to Pattinson and i hade no frame of reference for what else he could act. The ending scene in Good Time has always haunted my mind though, him crying and walking through the room with all the patients was a really good final lingering image.
Last time I researched it, I forgot how sad the ending was. Connie in jail/prison, while his brother feels bad with others, being babied around, feeling lost... :'(
