Why??? Junior was one of the godfathers while cristopher was literally nothing up until season 5 when junior was already a vegetable. It makes sense that they never interacted in a major fashion.
Because they're two extremely close family to Tony, and the old gen of the family vs the new gen. They're very funny, egotistical characters and would've bounced off each other well, 1 on 1.
Could've just been an exchange at a funeral, like where Jr is constantly seeing Carm during season 2 and 3.

Paulie and Jr had a scene together in the 1995 christmas flashback, it's a sit down, but I can't remember if Paulie says anything to him.

Yo what the frick? I literally watched just yesterday the episode of Tony and Paulie trip while Junior was in the mental hospital with the asian kid and had this EXACT thought yesterday. The episode was mainly about Paulie and Junior, so I wondered why they never really met or interacted.

Nah. I remember the hospital scene, the scene where she holds his baby, the scene where she calls him to ask about Ade just off the top of my head. Then there are several scenes where they are at a party, dinner or Christmas together.

Think about if the scenes had true character interactions between the two. The only scene I can remember with them even having a conversation was when Chris was in Tony's house and Carmela asked him about Adrianna and he just stormed out. Other than that, there isn't many interactions between the two.
