It is amazing how the original iron man still is basically the high water mark for the entire MCU in terms of their stand alone movies. Almost 80% of the rest feel unnecessary. Even the better movies like captain America civil war or that way because of all the rest of the cast
Would say the first guardians of the galaxy was also great on its own. It was very fresh at the time but in hindsight probably more responsible for marvel movies becoming quip shit fests
>literally only have 2-3 (4 max) dudes/stronk wymen who can actually throw heavy hits after Endgame >nerf all of them except Thor but he's done most likely >muh Spiderman
They really just said frick my shit up.
>The first Avengers was 11 years ago
I still remember being hyped for it, my hype train being fueled by enjoyment of the Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes series.
I was in 10th grade, and I was still full of hope.
Not sure if it'll make you feel better, or worse, but 11 years ago was 2012, I'm more than old enough to post here, I'll be 28 in december, what fricks with me, is that core zoomers, who the ones all the memes are based on, the one who fornite danced in public, and played with fidget spinners (which btw, were a trend in 2016, which 7 years ago, yeah, its been almost decade since those were relevant), who were 9-13 back in 2016, are now 16-20.
dunno, I think the russos did a good enough job if not better than whedon
Russos made George Lucas Star Wars prequels minus the fun, interesting political concepts, and vivid colors
>Star Wars prequels
>interesting political concepts
Iron Man is the only good MCU film and even then it has problems

No, it looked like shit.
They looked good back when Adi Granov designed them. Once they hired Andy Park everything looks the same and fricking gay as hell
Whedon made Captain America look like a loser.
>4
the neo-military Cap suit was ass.
I'll take the Batman 66 inspired camp Cap suit any day over that stealth suit China marketed garbage
it looked like ass. there were even articles at the time wondering why it looked markedly worse than anything else Marvel had made upt o that point.
Iron Man and Hulk yes, but this is Cap's worst outfit by far.
First Avenger and Winter Soldier had better getups. Age of Ultron too.
>First Avenger
Yeah, can't argue there.
>Winter Soldier
Frick no!
It was a better suit. Better overall movie too.
I prefer Bucky's Winter Soldier get up, it's pure kino, it has that operator vibe while maintaining a ninja-esqe look.
Yeah, shame they nerfed him immediately once he got back to his real self

People thought that everything was leading up the JUST that movie at the time. Little did we know the shit show that would follow
>People who were in 10th grade 11 years ago are now old enough to post on Cinemaphile
Frick why am I still even fricking here holy shit I'm a fossil
same

Find a flaw
hivemind
It doesn't say Captain AMERICA at, it's screams some other character like "Police Man"/"Super cop", or "Commander army guy"
>It was a better suit.
No.
>Better overall movie too.
Probably, it's been a minute since I've watched it though
moronic pockets with no usage during action
Power Rangers bullshit to appease Chima
>Chima
Captain America winter soldier is peak Marvel MCU
What the worst? Black Panther? Ant-Man and the Wasp? Doctor Strange 2?
Dude everyone looked like shit except for iron man and hulk which were CGI
Is Raimi's Spider-Man suit the best superhero movie costume? I'm thinking so.
only ironman.
God I hate this fricking film with a burning passion. Ruined movies for a good decade after
