The Flash

Why doesn't he just turn every criminal in existence into goo with his infinite mass punches all within the blink of an eye?

A lot of these criminals are high, so the speed force stops him.

The Speed Force would be sad 🙁 for reasons 🙁

      >Why doesn't the hero just kill?
Because the last time he merked someone it was Thawne, and that's only cause he just finished raping his timeline, raping his reality, making BARRY rape his timeline, beating up his second Wally, and was on the verge of killing his girlfriend. That, and most of his rouges are either unkillable, not even human to begin with, or can be handled without getting splattered.

He could, in less than an hour, build the perfect prison that allows no one to escape and put every criminal inside of it.

Wait. Are you... asking me to judge a suggestion about The Flash on the merits of logic?

Oh so like all of the other perfect prisons that about 10 different heroes have tried making. Man, I wonder what happened to those on- oh yeah they got broken out of easily. I also don't think you realize that he'd still need to actually have full knowledge on the villains he's trying to trap, meaning he'd have to make every single cell perfect for whichever baddie he's putting in there, which would take a frickton of time.
Why do you morons come up with the dumbest of solutions, when in reality the ACTUAL best way to deal with crime would be to toss every criminal into the Speedforce and let them fuse with it.

          >to make every single cell perfect for whichever baddie he's putting in there, which would take a frickton of time.
And what's wrong with just doing it slowly? He could experience literally everything a human can in a matter of seconds. It's not like he is missing anything by dedicating his life to doing the right thing.
          >Man, I wonder what happened to those on- oh yeah they got broken out of easily.
This could be easily solved by taking some time to think hard about it and thinking is fun.

            >He could experience literally everything a human can in a matter of seconds.
Where did this meme come from? You realize that it's not automatic and, for the most part, he still has to actually "activate" that sort of ability. It's not like his mind is moving at a million hours an hour all the time (though it does happen), and doing something like making a building required him to actively read up on what he needed to do. God I wish non-readers would stop making Barry look so lame.

That's not what I was referring to. What I meant by that is that he can be in every place he wants and then have that experience. If he wants to see Niagara Falls, he just has to rush there and then take his time admiring it. After that he can move to his next objective and so on. In a day he can do everything that is humanly possible.

he literally did just that when he rebuilt a whole ass bridge in seconds, moronic non-readerchama

          Not that guy, but.
Light can circle the globe in 0.13 seconds.
How long would it take the Flash to run across every inch of the planet?
I'm going to assume all circles are the same size as the equator, when in reality almost all of them will be smaller than that, so this will only make my calculation larger than it should be.
The circumference of the globe is about 40 million meters. Let's say 3 people can fit in 1 meter, lined up shoulder to shoulder. This represents the amount of circles the Flash will have to make to cover a 1-meter slice of the globe. 40 million meter circumference x 3 flash diameters = 120 million circuits of the globe.
This would take 180 days at 0.13 seconds per circuit.

But what if we restrict it to the areas with people? 29% of the planet is land. 43% of that land is habitable. This alone reduces the time needed to 22.5 days. Working 8 hours a day, it would take him 67.5 days to run across every inch of habitable land, personally witnessing every crime that occurred during that time.
And if you account for the fact he only has to see it and not actually run across every inch of the world. Even if we assumed every crime takes place in a room the size of an average hotel room in the US (about 28 square meters, which is 5.3 meters average side length) even though many crimes will take place in larger areas. If a human's width is 1/3 of a meter then 5.3 / 0.33 ~= 16. In other words, we can cut the time needed to witness all crimes by 16, bringing it down to 1.4 days, or 4.2 days if working 8 hours a day. If you do the math for the fact the earth isn't a cylinder and many areas are bigger than the average hotel room, the Flash can certainly witness every inch of habitable land in a single day if he wanted to. If he did this regularly, it would be child's play for him to personally witness and record every criminal on Earth.

Because there's millions of criminals and doing finding, investigating, prosecuting them would take millions of years from his perspective.

You blink but he has to actually do all the work for all countless lifetimes.
