He's da jokah baby
Nothing really. He's just a really curious dude that wants to see what this super curse would look like. He's just a scientist.
They are a troony and canonically got bred multiple times by men
why shonen nowadays are nothing but shock value? jjk writing is awful
>nowadays
The stories marketed towards horny and angst riddled 12 year olds have always been on the cutting edge of acceptable. They wouldn't sell otherwise.
>nothing but shock value
Yeah, because Kenshiro exploding gays was very tame
He's referring to how JJK kills/retires a lot of allies. It makes things more gritty but at the same time it can feel like a lot of characters just get wasted.
>He's referring to how JJK kills/retires a lot of allies.
You could STILL say that about HNK.
Anime became really popular rather than just popular so writing quality has decreased overall, tale as old as time for every medium.
It's made for third worlders and zoomers. Their fried brains can only register the most extreme of shit.
It cant be good because source material is subpar manga.
He's immortal and going for an evil route this run.
toji was top tier both as a character and as an enemy
Only really watched this shit when I was drunk and not sure if I missed it or not but doesn't his physical strength/ability come from the fact that he abandoned the magic?
It's called a Heavenly Pact or something, but it's not consciously made, some people are born like that. Same with the puppet guy who had a really frail body but could send his energy over great distances.
>Heavenly Pact
>but it's not consciously made
Ah that's where I got the bullshit crossed. It was Maki who could be as strong as him if she could surrender any hope of using magic.
Maki is not as strong as him because her pact is dilluted due to her having a twin sister (two bodies one soul kind of deal).
Once her sister died, Maki got a full insane power up
achievable natty?
Go back to Cinemaphile.
This, for fricks sake. Why don't the mods do something?
I love this show but don't really understand how any of the magic works. I should rewatch all of it one day.
They tell you that Gojo is OP because he won the genetic lottery and has both Limitless and Six Eyes, but they literally never actually explain in-story what the Six Eyes do.
Author's a genius. Leave shit up for interpretation and watch goobers go wild and keep it alive for years to come.
like Dark Souls?
>but they literally never actually explain in-story what the Six Eyes do.
I looked it up once, it lets him visualize and see the nature of cursed energy
He mentioned it once to yuji I think
As I understand it, negative emotions correlate directly to cursed energy. Which is a pretty clever basis, because you can justify mid-battle power-ups and epiphanies on the verge of death. The 'energy' itself is nebulous and basically just seems to let you do whichever technique you're lucky enough to have
Magic is negative energy that humans emit. Normal humans just ooze the thing and causes evil spirits to pop out. Sorcerers can manipulate/focus those spirits. The drawback is that sorcerers tend to be psychologically unstable/weird people. The protagonist doesnt have psychological issues (yet) because hes not a natural sorceror, but I digress.
A sorceror can do two things with the energy. They can use it "raw" like a person uses glucose to activate his muscles. Usually this is done to make sorcerors more sturdy, faster, and their punches more hard hitting, or crush/manipulate things from afar.
Or they can "cook" the energy and use it to fuel spells. Spells like summoning monsters, or enacting curses on others, or changing the nature of things around you.
Its subtle but you can use your magic "raw" and "cooked" to crush a far away can, but one is litterally using magic to forcefully crush the can like you would your hands, while the other is changing the nature of the cans so it would be crushed by itself.
During fights it all looks very similar, but some characters mostly fights with raw energy, while others only fight woth cooked energy, even if they do the same thing.
Then comes self imposed restrictions to boost your energy, because in the end it's all magic and magic is clever. Shit like calling out your spells, or explaining your power to the enemy is like a "bargain" where in exchange of that self imposed weakness, your energy output will be much higher. It makes it so characters naming their attacks mid punch or pre fight monologues actually do them for a legit reason.
And these bargains can take different forms, you can even subconsciously do them if you say/think stupid shit like "I will place all of my past and future training in this one strike". Congratultions, you're now unable to train anymore just so that one strike has an extra boost.
Its a clever system that seems simple and easy until you're reminded how complex it can be.
How far ahead is the manga from the anime?
>zoomer Bleach
Why does his brain have teeth?
>Main guy that has a demon locked inside him
>Cute main chick
>Broody dark haired guy
>OP white haired sensei man
Is Naruto any good?
kino
It has ups and downs. Skip all filler.
But ultimately it's quite great.
watch kai (fan recut which removes filler and follows manga volumes nearly exactly) and it's very good. fixes the glaring issue of terrible pacing in the main series. core story is great
guys hear me out.
sakura and nobara, raping and beating me to death
who would want this
do you dumb c**ts even know what rape and beat mean
soulless vs SOVL
I remember when watching anime was societal suicide and a kino SOVLful hobby, now it's so gay and mainstream I went back to Western media.
>its only good because it would make me an outcast
Lmao you can still be considered an outcast by necking yourself
character model on the left looks bland af ngl
Yet within the span of 4 episodes, I have an easier time buying Gojo and Geto’s friendship than I ever did Naruto and Sasuke’s in hundreds of episodes.
No hot sexualized female characters with coomer outfits = woke trash
went to shit when gojo died
reminder momo wears nothing under her dress and it's confirmed and we get a clear shot during a frame.
bullshit, japs wouldn't put that in one of their biggest shounens
Berserk Manga is better than any western writing or media. Post something and I'll destroy you within a sentence.
FMA > Berserk
Arcane mogs it.
Imagine his smell
I started watching the first season, it's generic as frick, still, I'm gonna keep watching it for a few more episodes, but I gotta know, does the manga also have those ridiculous and exaggerated ''funny'' scenes? They feel completely out of place, not like in gintama where the gorilla author was able to cleverly mix funny and serious scenes, this time feels like made by an AI who doesn't understand human emotions
>generic as frick
Yes, that's what I thought, I'm no superfan of anime but I recognize the same ol' character types but the show suddenly becomes awesome and the animation rules. The second season is more of the same awesome stuff but more. I recommend straight watch-through so as not to be spoiled by a few things.
I don't think it has much comedy. I actually remember thinking a funny scene you already went through was particularly clever, the one where the girl was introduced.
>creepy talent recruiter guy is harassing a girl on the street
>she's trying to get away
>then the girl we're meeting grabs the guy by the shoulder
>you think she's gonna tell him to cut it out, but instead she offers herself
>now the talent recruiter guy is the one being evasive and trying to get away
I'm not saying it was laugh out loud funny, but I was impressed that they didn't have a character spell out the joke like they would in 99% of shonen.
Only autists find Gintama funny
Season 1 is boring and won't really get any better.
Season 2 is pretty good in its entirety.
>does the manga also have those ridiculous and exaggerated ''funny'' scenes?
Not really. A lot of it is anime only exaggeration.
How far ahead of the anime is the manga?
being the best character
All them teeth and no toothbrush
I don't get how people can prefer old shonen to new shonen. I watched this and it was better than the favorites from back in the day like Naruto, Bleach, Soul Eater or FMAB. Too bad the second season was animated like that Naruto vs Pain fight.
do the characters in modern shounen even have goals or motivations? they all come off like automatons. naturo punching other kids in the face to befriend them at least had some sincerity to it, modern shounen is just at best a simulacra of that, at worst the characters have no motivations or their motivations are evil.
I think the only time I cared about the motivation of a single character in this entire show, was that short flashback with the girl who was supposed to be sacrificed, but she chose to live instead, and he chose to protect her even though doing so was the "wrong choice". but at least it was the characters deciding to do something for personal reasons, not just for dumb meta reasons like, well, they have to act this way to make the plot happen. but then she's instantly killed the second they decide to do that.
I actually think that was the moment I stopped caring about this one completely
Of course they do. You think "I want to be the king of my country" is a good motivation? It's broad, lame and uninspired, besides, don't kid yourself you just want to see the characters fight. Not only that but the motivation gets replaced with "I want to bring my friend back" except they weren't friends and weren6a team for long either.
Tell me the goals and motivations of the characters in Nardo. At best there were only a handful while the rest existed as nothing but screen fodder. Or hell, tell me the goals and motivations of the characters in Dragon Ball.
JJK is gay shit for women
