"FINALLY I FIND SOMEONE WHO'S GOOD FOR ME AND ALL I GET IS b***h b***h b***h"
That was an incredible season of television, it was very bold of the IP owners to allow them to show her being raped and murdered, honestly I think they did a great job.
The interesting thing about Pepper Ann is that it really captures the feel of the 90s in the same way Daria does, but Pepper Ann herself is the anti-Daria.
>Pepper Ann is the daughter of Lydia Pearson (nee Lilly) and Chuck Pearson. She comes from an interfaith family: Chuck is a Christian while Lydia is israeli, with Pepper Ann celebrating both Christmas and Hanukkah during the holiday season.
That said, I'd like to see somebody sync an Pepper Ann episode to some of the dialogue from Murphy's Law.
Though watching that clip reminds me of how odd it is that they never really gave Pepper Ann a musical number so Kathleen could sing. Well, outside of the intro obviously.
Can someone please explain this "nerds hate girls" trope I see when it comes to comic book shops? I knew plenty of girls around my age who went to comic book shops. They weren't lookers but then again what pretty person in the 90s is going to pick up issues of Bone or Sonic or some other shitty comic?
Even then, would nerds really be pissy that seeing a girl in the store if she is a brace face or glasses wearing geek like them or are they really set on "All women must look like Bruce Timm pinups"?
>"All women must look like Bruce Timm pinups"?
What do you fricking think?
Look up "2000s Playstation Magazines "Rate your Mate"" and you'll see how 100% realistic this was before it became normal to like cartoon women.
The cotton gin had a massive impact on American history so it's pretty much always covered in school. That said, it's kind of a dry subject in and of itself especially considering your average kid's writing skills.
I know The Weekenders had a joke about Tino having a dream about Martin van Buren riding a model train yelling "Down with the cotton gin!" but there are more???
It's always charming to me how much 90's media seemed to think kids were familiar with comic shops. Maybe in the early 90's but by the early 2000's I was the only kid I knew who'd go to one.
To me, at least back then, it was very much a regional thing. Towns that didn't have shops don't have the same culture. There was one in my mall where I grew up that a lot of my friends would go to because they had import toys from Japan. You couldn't believe how cool you'd be on the playground if you had a DBZ or Pokemon toy or whatever that wasn't released in the US yet. But when I moved to a town down south that didn't have one in a two hour radius there wasn't a single kid who understood.
Was actually thinking of checking this out purely because of the artstyle since Kids Next Door was always my favorite show. What can I get out of watching this instead of any other slice of life shows with teenage girls?
I always hated tween shows like this and pretty much anything else produced ny disney and nick. Specially if they go heavy on the puberty bullshit. The only people I've ever met in middle and high school that liked these show where the ugly social rejects from hyper conservative families. And god to reiterate on the puberty shit on how gross it was. No kid wants to talk about that shit and there are no relatable stories you can tell. Puberty is thee most all over the place thing and American TV shows always seem to loce shoving it in yourself and making you so self-aware on who does and doesn't have good genes.
Who's that girl?
What board is this?
Super Cinemaphile Jr's
What’s her name?
Black person-chan
Based
it's jess
It's Paprika Jan, who is too hip to be 14. Didn't you read the OP?
Why did her breast got so big in her super hero form
She fantasizes about being a big booba Amazon in the opening theme song already.
Pepper Ann often gave her fantasy alter egos a massive rack.
>talk about character's big boobied alter ego
>not a single picture posted
>RTÉ 2 HD
Was Ireland still airing this in like 2012 or when ever we got HD? Glad to be from a nation of good taste

Did someone take my lunch?
She deserved to be more well known than that gay Kim Possible.
HA, no
Pepper Ann was a chuuni anime.
Don't >> me.
The episode where she swallows a guy gave me nightmares and probably vore fetish for some gays, thx Disney.
I'm jealous of his joy
Voregay here. Which ep?
I will now watch your show.
Weekenders-tier. Which means it's Ned's Declassified-tier, which means it's Scrubs-tier.
I didn't realize there was a flowchart.
It was a great show is what it was. A show that held up well, and had a great satisfying finale.
I liked that episode where she and Tony soprano started dating.
Tone, you want me to whack that 12 year old you've been frickin'?

both are israeli
Daria is not israeli. Her family is of a Christian background but Daria herself is agnostic.
the producers are israeli, not the characters
they knew to keep back behind the stage back then
>Pepper Ann is the daughter of Lydia Pearson (nee Lilly) and Chuck Pearson. She comes from an interfaith family: Chuck is a Christian while Lydia is israeli, with Pepper Ann celebrating both Christmas and Hanukkah during the holiday season.
israeli vegana = 1000% kosher child
It's OGRE
Rememebr that episide where she got "support" and then flashed everyone while she was jumping on a trampoline?
Shows used to be better back then, didn't they
a cute show for girls that approaches some life issues while still being entertaining
pepper ann cute cute cute cute
her voice is ugly
it cant be ugly if it makes me horny
I like it since it's so distinctive.
That said, I'd like to see somebody sync an Pepper Ann episode to some of the dialogue from Murphy's Law.

Where can I find this film? I can't finda torrent?
You’re gay.

I love how even though it was made by a feminist, it still makes fun of other feminists and progressives.
Even the Eltingville Club didn't like her

Woman victim complex
Extreme gatekeeping, especially where girls are concerned, has been around for quite a while as a nerd stereotype.
Just look at all the '50s films that had some variation on "a FEMALE doctor?"
Because women are moronic and don't understand that nerds hate morons, not women.
>"All women must look like Bruce Timm pinups"?
What do you fricking think?

Post it, I can't find anything.

Ok which issue is this exactly? And which other issues have this? Is it literally only one chick in 20 years?
>every Disney cartoon had a cotton gin joke
explain this logic please?
The cotton gin had a massive impact on American history so it's pretty much always covered in school. That said, it's kind of a dry subject in and of itself especially considering your average kid's writing skills.

I miss this little ginger J.A.P. like you wouldn't believe....
They used to have the red haired characters be the single parent huh, in this, As Told By Ginger, and Rugrats.
Well yeah Anon why else do you think they keep replacing red heads with blacks people.
fun fact, the music for this series was written by one of the guitarists from the B-52s
Was actually thinking of checking this out purely because of the artstyle since Kids Next Door was always my favorite show. What can I get out of watching this instead of any other slice of life shows with teenage girls?
She almost makes a girl pee herself waiting outside a bathroom one episode
DON'T YOU TALK ABOUT PEPPER ANN!
"Tone, I introduced ya to pepper ann! You said 'she's too cool for seventh grade!'"
Tony how could you live a 12 year old girl? You don’t even love yourself
Where did this Tony Soprano x Pepper Ann meme come from, anyway?
