mafia in 1930s

mafia in the 2000s
>building a fricking ramp
>Are you fricking deaf?
>Your mother!
i always found it funny when these old geezers would be beating the shit out of younger guys as if a little shove wouldn't have them flying
robert logia could've kicked your ass after working out 10 years in the can
old man strength is real
those guys worked physical jobs and got into fights growing up
the gardener looked really soft and fat, probably never threw a punch in his life
More like boomer power fantasy grandpa, old people have the strength of children
This, my dad’s almost 80 and still goes lifting heavy shit around the house.
why is your dad 80?
He was born 50
If you fight back against an older guy the mafia kills you
The Sopranos world isn't our world. People point out the ghosts and premonitions but also the world runs according to a DnD system where each character "rolls" on each action then adds their modifiers.
This is why in the same season Tony wins a fight with a body-builder and loses a fight with Bobby.
However there is also a luck stat like in fallout that will save you from most bad outcomes if you stat dump into it. Paulie is running a pure Melee/Luck build so can consistently win physical altercations despite his age.
To be fair Tony won against the body builder because he knew his arm was weak and used that to his advantage. Not to mention Tony wasn't ostensibly weaker than him, he was a football linebacker at one point.
People completely misinterpret the advantage “body building” gives you. You can be a gym rat and still get wrecked depending on the other persons genetics and history.
A sober giant dude will beat an untrained civilian 99% of the time, the trouble is the drunker you get the less your muscles matter which is why there’s so many videos of roidcels getting into moronic fights and being rekt. If a sober 230+ dude grabs you it’s over unless you can strike his adams apple or balls
There’s also a difference between tone and muscle. Most big dudes are toning.
>what are you gonna do, b***h? deadlift me? lmao
T was fresh off the gunshot surgery in post recovery fool, he was nerfed af and still beat him up
He won against muscles because he let him. It was infront of the whole crew. Tony felt weak after the gun shot surgery so he decided to pick a fight with the biggest dude in his crew to appear dominant again. Imagine if muscles hit him back? You kidding? He would have to GO
>the world runs according to a DnD system where each character "rolls" on each action then adds their modifiers
The black guys missing Tony at close range and Drinkwater and Giz not killing Chris makes sense with this system.
You are genius.
Phil's stealthmaxx build was some real Bethesda bullshit, he was in the closet the whole time, just like he was actually in the house and got a stealth hit with the wienersucka comment
Christopher Dexterity maxxed so that he could get those sick headshots, but failed to invest any points into INT and WIS, resulting in him becoming a drug addicted loser
They usualy open up with some sort of a sucker punch or a kick to the balls, so its kind of realistic
Talk shit, get hit
why is that kid kicking an old dude?
Feech just got out of prison. Even if his story about taking down the meanest Black person 1st day isn't real, he clearly spent a lot of time just lifting and fistfighting younger guys.
Good thread made me lol
WHAT'S YOURS IS YOURS PAULIE
Manolo. Shoot dis piece of chit.
What was the point of Feech?
entertainment, i loved the temp characters
To show the disparity between the old school and the new school, but also to show an interesting scenario that Tony has to navigate:
>absolutely legendary mobster
>can’t let go of the past
>thinks he’s invincible because of his identity
>tony sends his ass right back to the clink to die of old age behind bars because he won’t respect his authority
It’s one of the more sad moments in the show for me honestly
the moment feech knows hes been betrayed and is going back to die in prison is a really heavy moment, the whole series is about the old days being gone but you dont really see it until youre watching Feech
He was going to have a longer storyline but Robert Loggia had Alzheimer's and couldn't remember his lines and cues anymore.
It's kinda scary that even if you win a fight against a gangster they'll probably come back and out a cap in you, shit sucks....
"I'm with Paulie Walnuts"
Which entitles me to lurk!!
whatever I want
Why was Tony such a pussy that he killed Chris because he got the pussy tony wanted? Just another way to show just how much of a pos he was for the open ending?
Chris was a major frickup and liability. Remember he tells tone “I’ll never pass a drug test” after the wreck, and the camera pans to the smashed baby seat in the back? It was a tough call but Chrissy had it coming for a long time. He fricked up over and over again and got away with it because of his relationship to Tony. Also yes Tony by this point was an irredeemable monster.
The main reason he killed Chris is because his biggest fear was him flipping. Him getting high again showed he couldn't be trusted.
It was because of the girl Tony liked deciding she wanted Christopher more.
Christopher and Tony’s relationship died s4 onwards. The cleaver movie was the final straw. Once Tony learned it was a revenge fantasy he said his goodbyes to Chris.
