It was the Joker. He got exposed to the ooze from TMNT. It was a weird crossover and a different time. The weirdest part was how Spider-Man kept making anti-Semitic comments the whole issue, and the final battle taking place in a synagogue left a bad taste in a lot of people's mouths. The panel before the one shown Spider-Man shouts, "this is for my Lord and Saviour, Christ-killer!"
it's definitely a buzzword, but there is still a general understanding of what it's referring to. At its core, "woke" is just hamfisted, and often logically inconsistent, shows of progressivism.
An important point people on both sides never acknowledge is that it's existence shouldn't be argued about. It's the issue with the people making it, a show being woke should be down to what the audience wants, instead you clearly have studios using it as a tool to make people view their show as some sort of noble deed and not simply a way of making money.
How many companies that "went woke" actually went broke? Cos that line gets thrown out all the time by anti woke people, but they never bring up past examples of companies going broke after going woke. >ghostbus-
People still think they made Ghostbusters 2016 bomb because of its "wokeness" and not because it's hot garbage that didn't deserve a single ticket
People still bring that phrase yet they don't get what going broke means. But well, they don't know what woke means despite throwing it everywhere
She's playing Jacqueline Falsworth, Union Jack's daughter/granddaughter. In the comics she's a superhero called Spitfire. In the MCU she will be, at least at first, the director of the MI-6.
She's been around since the mid 70s, kind of a fire based speedster because she got some of the original Human Torchs blood in her She Hulk style.
She's possibly an inspo for firestar as Spider-man and his amazing friends came out in 81. However Firestar was originally meant to be the Human Torch until rights issues fricked that all up and they figured, well we don't have a chick super hero in the show yet...
>all the hardcore Union Jack fans coming out the the woodwork
Nobody gives a shit about this garbage character. If it was Captain Britain in a mainline movie then maybe I would care but a non character in a spin off show literally doesn't matter, it's not like male Union Jack couldn't take this geriatric's place down the road if British superheroes suddenly become popular. There is nothing wrong with some worldbuilding using comic references
I stopped watching the MCU because of wokeness
Sauce?
Don’t know, found it here.
Why did Spider-Man rape that giant rodent?
Unlike Batman, he does what needs to be done.
