The Northman feels like a lesser Scott's history movie. I was so hyped by this clip they shared before the release and expected the entire movie to be this way. Alas it was rather mediocre. I still love Eggers tho, Nosferatu is going to be great, no two ways about it.

I have a soft spot for Kingdom of Heaven (the director's cut at least, i haven't seen theatrical). The first hour or so is particularly kino.
The biggest let down with The Northman for me was fight choreography, Scott's films aren't very impressive in this regard either, but tend to have bigger budget and thus provide more of a spectacle, i guess.
I expected Eggerrs to do something completely unique with fight scenes, and he didn't deliver at all.

The last act was the most israeli part of the movie. It was showing that his redemption arc was just fiction because he doesn't have the balls to act. His mother condemned him to hell because of it.

Beau is Afraid is unironically the most impressive movie of these three directors' works.
Peele has tone schizophrenia. He can't blend comedy smoothly and it feels like his movies stop to be funny. Still can't believe that Get Out ended the way it did.
